  1. Very patient and helpful chap, would recommend him for anything mapping related.
  2. I think i'd rather spend £300 on a rebuilt and no doubt waranted gearbox, than £100 on an unknown!
  3. Some numpty has used that as a jacking point.
  4. First clean since buying it almost a year ago, ready for mapping, I think. D-Day is Friday, fingers crossed it survives the day.
  5. Noticed there is some play in the gear stick. It's actually the rod which goes through the ball that sits in the plastic shifter assembly. My car has a short shifter fitted, I've had a look at the standard one I have on the shelf and there isn't any play there at all. But I can't see how I'd tighten it up on the short shifter. Has something broken, or does it need tightening some how? Any suggestions?

    wilwoods:)

You can get adapters for the calipers if you aren't confident about re-tapping them. The hardest part is the brackets, are they aluminum or steel?
  7. The plastic bits that cover the nuts on the wipers, anyone?
  8. Take the plugs out, disconnect the fuel pump and turn that sucker over to build some oil pressure or at least to see if the sensor is faulty. Starting it up without any oil pressure and revving it is asking for trouble!!

    Few problems

Do you have your hazard switch plugged in? The EP82's indicators run through that switch, without it they don't work.
  12. Excellent! Next round at Blyton? I'm going to try and do the track day the day before if you're around. It's a Toyota only day too.
  13. Is the gauge measuring correctly and the light on, or does the gauge display an empty tank?
  14. Kind of goes with the black/red interior theme I seem to have going on with the inside of my car. It's a Personal wheel from Driftworks, having had cheap OMP copies before I decided to splurge on something decent this time.
  15. Mine is being mapped by Will at RDT on the 27th.. Pretty nervous too, I'm not really that bothered what mine makes. Hoping to have it setup for between 12 and 15psi on a Tongs Hybrid turbo.
  16. Enjoy, where are you staying? I'm back out there in October, can't wait.
  17. Is the vacuum hose as fuel line a temporary measure?
  18. Not unless it's over the MAX mark.. Just stick your head under the bonnet when the car is running, should be easy to spot a leak.
  19. I had a leaky radiator on my GTiR once, and I noticed it because my screen was getting wet but it wasn't raining outside. Run the car up to temperature, let it sit idling and have a poke around, you'll find where it's coming from easily.
