go for 15s mate.
-
they are tiny little bastards. be a REALLY good upgrade for a starlet, be similar to a hybrid, but without the reliability issues. i say go for it. itll be a nice 190 hp if tuned well. more than enough.
-
you need a set of crystal lights on there mate
-
get some jump leads and hook up another car to the battery, get someone to rev that car up to about 4k, then start yours. could be your battery on its say out. although the starter usually is the first tell tale sign for that.. could be a fluke though. short of that, check your dizzy cap to see if the pins are worn down. if so, get a new one. that can cause a poor ignition.

youll have to bend over to take it off mate, and we both know what will happen then
-
i got it in japan of course! they are UBER rare and really really hard to get. they were an optional factory extra, and hardly any were put on. i was lucky to find them.
-
i need an os giken one, my clutch ate am OEM one in 500 miles. Giken are making me one that suits the clutch, so it will defiantly work. taking the gearbox off is not on my fun list. especially when the weather is this shit.

mini update... i decided to do something a bit different today.... i took apart a set of corner lights, and painted them black, you like? they look mint on the car! i also trial fitted the carbon lip for the front bumper. i need to chop some more of the bumper up, but ill do that when it isnt snowing also, managed to get one of these, how fucking pimp jdm is that.... ive also got some JAM eyebrown to slap on to give the front that mean look im after. al i need now is that OS realease bearing to turn up so i can drive the bugger...

i was thinknig of doingsomething similar on mine... i think it looks ok.
-
that would be.... immense.. do it

is the starter spinning, or can you hear it clicking? starter motors have 2 parts, there is the solenoid that pushes the teeth onto the fly, this makes a click. and the motor that spins it. it will whine if its not engaged. what one is it?
-
unfortuantly shell this is one of them things that you dont expect until it happens ^^ in my experience anyway
-
stock fuel pressure is 33psi at idle
-

-
you know i love you shellypies ^^

-
just an update.... the engineer is being a goob over these, its just confusing the shit out of him. so ive bought a set from japan to give him as a tester base. i thouht these guys were suposed to be clever
-
aaaaaah, so you have the old white stallion now, nice one! ill have to pop up and see your bro soon. and the convoy from bp sounds good to me matey!!
-
??? going down a hill? do i win?
-
you can adjust it with the car running mate.
-
na its twice a week, thats not so bad ^^
-
no mate, the car has to be running. its hard to get fuel pressure when the car isnt on and you take the hose off so it is 3 bar at atmosphere. i personally think 3 bar is too much. i had mine running at 13 psi on 35 psi fuel pressure, which is about 2.4 bar... you dont have to boost the shit out of the car on the way do you? just drive nicely and set it to 33 psi

few are meh? i must have been unlucky and dealt with every "meh" member on there then. its a shame. i put thousands and thousands of posts into that site. im dropping my gearbox out tomorrow, and then waiting for the os giken lovelys. i should be there, but it wont be properly tuned unfortuantely.
