Forget the k26 on standard internals. For that budget, you would easily reach the 200 mark, and a tad over depending how far you push a hybrid. But thats the route i took, i only forged mine because i shattered a rod in my previous one. If you want drivability, and response..Stick to a hybrid or maybe a TD04.anything larger and youre looking at lag which makes it less fun to drive unless youre dragging it or driving on large tracks. With the power fc and a hybrid you should get a decent figure with the rx top mount. A decent hybrid will set you back half of that budget alone.. so

Insurance shouldnt go up at all, if it does, there rapists! Just phone them and tell them the BASE colour of the car. Even if its a flip, you just state the starting colour for example. When i had a respray in alfa aurora nuvola with a pearl ontop, it went from light mettalic blue, to dark purple to gold. As if the v5 will have on it, model : Starlet colour : A bluey, kinda purpley gold.. ;)

Id assume, if the car colour is classed as red on youre insurance documents, it would be void. Why not just write to dvla and change the colour of youre car, seeing as its free. I sent my letter off when i resprayed my saxo, and recieved my new documents 3 days later. Then just tell the insurers that you changed the colour of the car.

Also how the hell do you clean the car without the paint staining ? With water etc, and how do you keep hand prints off of it ? My mate had his bike painted in a satin black, looked immense but it didnt last well. Ive allways loved satin black, looks hardcore!

You can buy fuel cell kits with intank pump and jus fit a swirl pot. I was thinking of doing the exact same thing with mine, so would be good to see how much weight you save and how you manage it bud ! Craig

I have the hose going from the rocker to the catch can inlet, and on the other side of the cans port, have a little breather filter attatched.I didnt like the idea of leaving it open so moisture/water could get in the can.You could leave it open or run a hose off the other port and tuck it inside youre engine bay some where, just to vent.
