You would stuggle because the EFI pipe comes off the turbo with a 90deg bend, then where the pipe comes up past the manifold its a strange shape, not round. So you would have difficulty running samcos from there, unless you have like a thousand different sized reducer pieces lol Best bet then is to come straight off the turbo, with a 90degree or 145 then get the filter as far away from the turbo and manifold as possible.. Probably end up being quite close to the road but as long as you secure it, it shouldnt be a problem. And if youre really worryed about sucking moisture up, make a bit of

opinions wanted with this dam vibration
Glanza_Ragger replied to nic1.3's topic in Chassis & Suspension
Wheel weight may have unstuck and causing the vibration? I was going crazy because of this problem last year all because i didnt notice a weight had come off my wheel -
L O L just noticed Sparkys pics! Thats comical, blokes do that at the garage next to me.. Had one vehicle that was in for about a month and they layed grass turf around it and made birds nests inside it..Funny times!

Dont go above fuel cut with out fuelling mods. You wont need to go above fuelcut level to feel the difference, you will notice as soon as you've fitted it that it will hold boost alot steadier without dropping off higher rpm.

Ive seen the guy with no fface before, how awfull is that, it makes you wish you had never complained when you had the flu before or other little things.

Either shift the battery and run it straight off of the EFI pipe with some samco nearer to the passanger headlight, Or straight off the turbo, with a 90deg bend, then down towards the road.Only real options you have as you havent got any room to locate it behind the front grill. Only thing with being closer to the road is itll pick more crap up and road spray/water.. Allthough a fair few people do run them like it.

Before you touch the actuator, id personally remove the radiator, and un-attatch the aircon fan and rad, push it forwards out of the way of the turbo. It'll give you lots of room to work with. Other than that, nothing can go wrong really.. just takes a bit of playing with to get the actuators arm the right length.. Also, make sure if you have a circlip type, you watch out for the c clip firing off somewhere never to be found again. If that happens, just shoot to halfrauds etc to get more. Easy.

I went through 3 different brands of stainless manifolds, each ranging in price from 3 different companys. The only one that hasnt cracked is the RoadRunner mild steel manifold, if you can find one, snap it up as i think Ivan the fabricator stopped making items. Somebody correct me if im wrong

As Rick stated, i bet youre running the stock actuator. There absolute p!ss holding pressure. If you have an uprated item, check for leaks in the basic places, turbo lines, intercooler etc.

First thing i do when i get the starbo back, is sort the nasty interior out! Ill also be offering a choice of carpet colours/materials as well as Alcantara headlining, Perforated alcantara headlining, pvc and perforated pvc headlinings. I just need mine back to template it all up and price the whole job up. Soon as i have worked out the costs for materials, i can offer you guys prices for a basic retrim, or a full on retrim ie, headlining, doorcards, dash and panels etc. -

Testing interest for leather retrim
Glanza_Ragger replied to Glanza_Ragger's topic in Lifestyle General
You mean Alcantara, or faux Alcantara? You dont generally use suede on interiors. The harness hole in the headrest is zipped around, yeah.Thats how they fit the seat cover. All seats with harness holes but havent got the plastic harness hole inserts will either be zipped, velcro or finished with a reverse hand stitched seam once the cover is fitted to the seat foam. Just for the leather and alcantara alone, you'll be looking at a few hundred very minimum -
Non lsd boxes will want 75/90 syn. 3 litres worth, either castrol from halfrauds , or millers etc if you want to hunt some out.its about £10-£12 a litre.

Nice job there bud.Bit too much leather for me though. I prefer either alcantara / leather combination combination or full alcantara. I painted mine blue, mainly because the calipers were caked with corrosion, so i attacked them with a wirebrush attatchment, and found some hammerite i had left over. They will be going red to match the new paintjob in the near future Paint the drums black though bud, should allways hide drums as much as you can imo
