  9. Good Ecu.. But Piggyback in General isnt a good idea, when your taking a car to the levels I am... With a Piggyback you can only go at pertcentages over standard values of the stock ECU. But when your running nearly 3 times the power of the stock ECU, piggyback is certainly not ideal! Standalone removes any stock maps and you can create a brand new map from scratch. Basically Im going to gain a much smoother driving car, and maybe even a lil more power at the same boost level! Unsure, Ricky is busy at the moment and Im not sure I want to do a pretty drastic change to the car before the bi

  17. Ye, spoke to a gearbox specialist, they said the avensis is very similar, most of seals r same etc... but long shot... need to do a bit of research! Cheap... your not wrong asad lol! If u look at my torque compared to most on leaderboard: www.s314kba.co.uk/leaderboard Its not exactly lacking the stuff!... Diesel box wud be good, shame the ratios are daft! Hence this thread matey!
  18. Thanks for advice people... Have to have a chat with Ricky about custom options... What are you implying by that make... Im struggling to read that in any other way then a bit offensive...? I very rarely put my foot down in my car, when I do unless its giving a ferarri a tickle, i dont have the boost all the way up... Norr do i yank the gearstick around or behave like a tool....
  19. they werent designed for twice the power, never mind nearly 3x the power!
  20. This is the reason for this thread, it seems we need to find a box that can handle the power... Yeh, my box is handling it... but... the oil is grey every time i change it... Meaning its wearing quick....
  21. people have shredded boxes at much less then 300bhp. but me sat on 345bhp... it is taking its toll!
  22. Several others.. not just me are starting or have already found the limit of power that can be put through these gearboxes... 3rd gear strips completely... With Straight Cut gears well over £2500... there is a need for a gearbox that can handle the beef... So... Are there any gearboxes... off any other toyotas that fit that would be strong without having daft ratios (which rules diesel boxes out) 6 speeds??? Any info would be brill, as longterm I cba to keep replacing stuff!
