    awesome... glad its all sorted... didnt know if you knew previous condition of turbo matey! Shot in the dark unless its someone trustworthy glad to hear you've got it sorted! welcome to the screamer club hehe! get yourself a japspeed exhaust off fleabay! cheap as chips and will run perfect!

    tractor noises sounds like blowing to me matey! did u use any paste at all? on any of the joining surfaces? make sure all the surfaces are clean and give them a 1mm smear of paste ether side of gasket and do them up tight... like really tight... from cold, start it up and before it gets too hot to handle put your fingers around all the joining surfaces, chances are you'll feel some puffing of exhaust gases or get your hands black sutty... that'll be where its blowing from!

    glanza's put the eml on when they get close to hitting fuel cut, but not actually hitting it.... so yeh your problem is creep and the ecu is doin its job in protecting you from overboosting. you may find it gets worse at night/when its colder...

    engine - £400 turbo, mani, downpipe, exhaust - £300 clocks, ecu and complete loom - £80 depends on so many different things tho!

    sticky wastgate could be a possbility.. sounds like the turbo is properly fucked to me tho.. no boost and smoking like a trooper ?

    follow the guide daz posted up chap, as amjad said, brakes and suspension along the way too! i wouldnt bother with a hybrid... the cost involved, it would be cheaper to go TD04 then ud get more power and torque anyways and not much more lag, only ones that bang on bout lag is the people that havent got a td04
