kidV got a shit load of pics, ill photoshop them tonite if i get chance... we decided to be hard ass's and stay up all night/morning doing his car... so i got up at 530am sat morning and got to bed at 10pm sunday evening will be a massive update on his project thread too.... all in good time im recovering

boost creep matey... only ways to fix are: remove front mounted filter for efi pipe get wastegate port enlarged with bigger penny external wastgate plug n play ecu. they dont creep above 1.1bar unless the temp outside is below 6c

yeh there SS stuff cracks... monkey metal... and yeh gaskets r cheap, shud always use gen gaskets anyways... so there mild steel kit is ok

do a compression test... drop a cap full of oil down each cylindr and re test.. if it improoves its defo rings

check the oil level? the boosting too high could be anything from a fucked actuator to boost creep.. let us no!

im down road from you. and from what your describing... it sounds like Fuel Cut as the helpfulo people above have said... FUel Cut is the ECU's safe Limit, because too much boost is being built up, so it cuts the spark plugs out, which is what causes the huge bang (fuel going through engine into exhaust) So if you have a boost gauge, see what its boosting too and let us know, gurantee it'll be above the safe limit of around 0.8bar

all the plug n play ecu's differ slightly, few have reputation for being more agressive but they all the the same job! youd be wasting your time fitting emanage with any pkug n play ecu!
