  1. Yes 5k and comes with a free 4x4 turbo starlet! Bargain really..
  2. Year: 1992 Model: Starlet S EP85 MOT: 24th November 2017 Mileage: 118,271km | 73,490miles Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland. Close to Belfast docks and Larne docks if a ferry is required if it sells to the mainland. Description: Little bit of history This car was originally imported by Starlet Legend Trevor (Ballymena) It was then owned by Peter Smyth, Ted and now myself. All of us are starlet enthusiasts who have owned multiple starlets in our time. Since import it has never had any other owners, and I think that is reflected in the condition its found in today. Not showroom condition but
  3. ep85 with all the gt turbo engine, loom and interior parts. Not sure what to ask for it yet.
  4. Im going to be selling my ep85 turbo in a couple of weeks. I dont know where to get any gearboxes or halfshafts.
  5. wepr manifolds arent top price. there priced really well for what you get. these are starlets not 100k cars. If you want the best youll have to get the flanges matched to your head and dowls fitted it aligns perfectly plus gaskets to match, plus youll want all the welding purged. No one does this off the shelf and im sure it would be 4 times the price to have it made in the uk at £35 per hour plus materials. All off which is a waste of time for very little if any noticable gain, better off with 1 more psi!
  6. your doing a good job mate. The gasket you used on your turbo might give bother, there not great. Best to use toyota gaskets when possible.
  7. Heres my verdict, possibly biased as ive never owned a racetech kit but ive owned everything from ebay, sps, zisco, dean at rd developments, JAM and Wepr. So for me the answer to the title is WEPR. In comparision Sacha has excellent customer service since the beginning of TGTT. He has been serving the starlet community over ten years while competitors have came and went. Bearing in mind how small the market is and how easy every customer is to reviewing products with one another on these forums and social media. Its also worth noting the diversity of customers reviewing the products. Majority
  8. This is super cool! Can you share your story with us of how you've ended up in japan modifying and tracking a starlet?
  9. I contacted real street performance to buy some of these and they are unavailable. They said to contact pro gram direct but there email does not work.
  10. This is sad, I'm pretty sure this is the first sports select 4x4 ever imported to the UK by Trevor and turbo'd by him. It was insane and his wife made him sell it and then I bought it, cherished it for a few years then I was forced to sell it. Paul Carnell bought it and took it to England. Someone needs to keep this alive!
  11. I've also broke main caps, on the timing side. The crank also bent 27thou. Also stripped 3rd gear before this. Mainly daily driven on a 4e vf35@ 1.5 bar. I done lots of miles and a small amount of drag days. I don't see how a girdle will strengthen the main caps as you couldn't have the surface between the two mated to increase thickness for strength. It would need spaced and I do believe that would strengthen the block slightly. I'm in a dilemma myself what the best solution is.
  12. I'm also interested in this because I've also stripped 3rd. I stripped a paseo box to see but the gears looks weaker. I'm going to start looking through diesel box's to see if I can fin anything similar size with a thicker tooth.
  13. Rain sports!!!!!!!!! Best tyre ever. I've tried everything and I mean everything. Rain sports are the best. The grip is unreal in them. For road use obviously. On track/dry days slicks are the only way, r888 etc are just a waste.
  14. Good job Phil! I had my nephews out walking the dog at stormount and could hear it all so I walked up to to the very top through the forest but couldn't get out to view cause its all fenced off. I was gutted cause I could hear your man on the tannoy and racey noises
  15. Keep up the great work Chris its gonna be class
  16. Just read your whole story/build and it was brilliant, keep up the good work pal! I'd recommend getting yourself a proper lsd like the cusco one. It will transform your car, its the best mod for a starlet! The Toyota lsd is a joke.
  17. I've had plug and play ecu like the blitz access before that reved to 8500.
  18. This is my daily drift missile and it gets some amount of attention and fuel lol. 1990 white edition turbo manual supra, comes with the 3.0 single turbo 7mgte engine and desirable r154 gearbox and lsd standard. It's not fast but it is smooth and easy to skid.
  19. I done a pile of testing out different setups over years and wasted alot of money as far as I can see haha. Most modifications aren't worth the cost in my opinion. Keep it as simple as possible, with the rear stiffer than the front and use slicks. I've done this a few ways and my favourite was pretty simple and cheap. It consisted of braced rear end. No braces in the front and koni adjustable dampers on kyb lowering springs. Il have to post up the geometry settings. Without a doubt slicks is the biggest difference on track. Not r888 ect proper race slicks.
  20. Sorry to hear about that mate, I was super paranoid driving my starlet daily over here. I went to town on security. Starlets are easy stole as youve experienced. First thing they do is bend the door back to pull the door lock pin. So I removed my door pin, if it's not there they can't get in unless they smash a window. It's free to do and a brilliant deterant. Second thing to do is snap the steering lock. So a snap off steering wheel boss will prevent this. So the only way now to get the car is to actually get the keys and the steering wheel which unfortunately makes your house the next
