I'll probably be in Japan around this time. I'm planning on going to china, korea then japan from the middle of february spending about a month in each place. Would be good to meet up with you guys if you were there at the same time.

That looks awesome! I take it the fenders are mc chu's cruise replica one's? They really suit your car, they make the front look really fat better than the proper cruise one's actually. I really like them! ;) Also the gram lights are a very good choice, they suit the car so much more. My favourite na by far, excellent work mate.

So the full beam with hid's are worse than standard?! Why's that? I want hid's at some point but do lot of country driving like yourself so would want the full beam to be good.

@ Jay I knew it was gonna be that picture you posted before it had loaded! Its a classic. My best single mod would probably be either the cusco coilovers for both the cosmetic and performance difference, or my rays - they make the car look so much better.

Right, the other night I got stopped by the police and fined 30 quid for having a noisy exhaust!.... but the reason I was pulled over to start with was because of my rear sidelights shining a bit white. On inspection of the bulbs, I found that the red coating on the bulbs has started to peel off, the bulbs I'm talking about are the one's at the bottom of the cluster. These are just normal sidelights as standard however I also have the fog light wired into the left one as other's on here have, so obviously I need a dual filament bulb with a red glow due to the clear reflet lense. So my question is what are people using? I've found red LED lights but I'm unsure whether these will be suitable for a normal sidelight and foglight purpose?

Well I don't use my brakes hard at all but the pedal still has a lot of dead travel before they bite which I don't like. When they bite it is good though, I gave them a bit of abuse to test them and they did seem to fade quite easily which was a bit dissapointing. You don't happen to want some blue caliper paint to make them look even nicer?!

Which mintex pads? I've got a similar setup except for the bmcs and I went for the ten grooves with 1144 pads. I'm not that impressed to be honest. Did you fit the whole lot today?

Its mapped safely up to the fuel cut at 13.2 psi.

So you don't have a boost gauge then? The FCD really isn't needed just now then. Aswell as the frount mount I'd suggest getting either a boost controller with a built in gauge or gauge aswell as a boost controller. With the decat and fmic set the boost to 12psi and it should be enjoyable then.

Yeah, what boost are you planning on running? You can run 12psi without touching the fuelling or needing the fcd, then if you want to go above that you'd be best getting an uprated intercooler and a new unrestricted mani to make sure no damage is done to the third piston.

That's spike's, he's been on the starlet scene for ages, gt power tuning off tgtt, loads of the maltese boys are part of that. Hope it turns up guys.

At least an uprated regulator so you can increase the fuel pressure, then a rolling road run to make sure its ok.

Setting 8 is for a mildly tuned glanza/GT. Have you got fuelling mods fitted first though? An fcd on its own is asking for trouble...

Are you not getting the grill for the glanza bumper too? Take some pics when fitting as I'm still unsure what the brackets needed are? Will look good when done.

Its a breather filter, the engine needs to breathe so requires some opening to vent gases. The filter just keeps it a bit tidier as any oil which is blown out will soak into the filter instead of straight out the end of the pipe. The best thing to have as an oil catch can to keep things properly tidy.
