    I think it will fail eventually if it keeps getting abuse with mad power. A few years back people doubted it would cope with 200bhp

    Stay away from the d1 nuts! Mines twisted and snapped and it took me ages to get the wheels off!

    That must be the answer to the microbubbles. Im actually thinking of extending mine so it sits a wee bit higher. Your lightly stocked atm so i wouldnt imagine it would pull much out. Mines the same, you know you can adjust it yeah? You can adjust the height of the overflow over the skimmer cup. Therse a little white plastic screw inside to tighten it up at the level u want.

    Theres a little bit of pipe that comes out of the pump to the inside of the cylinder, there should be a wee angled pice of pipe on the end of that to direct the bubbles upward. If it isnt pointing upwards the bubbles scatter everywhere, if you dont have it im surprised youve been producing any skimmate lol

    Looking good mate! Have you had the skimmer apart mate? See under the cylinder you have the little nozzle on the end of the pipe from the pump(were the bubbles come from) if that isnt pointing driectly upwards it will push the bubbles underneath and into the outlet into the tank. The little nozzle isnt a very tight fit and can wriggle round a wee bit causing microbubbles, ive had to adjust mines a few times

I was in waterworld lastweek and couldnt resist these little beauties A stunning pair of true percula clowns, wanted a pair like this for ages with the really dark lines and mega bright orange! defo my fav breed of clowns. they are hosting in my toadstool and finger corals. Ive even seen them hosting a powerhead haha im gonna need to get an anemone.

    Have u checked the speedo cable is connected up properly at the gearbox? Theres a little spade connector on the thermo housing that sends the signal to the temp guage id check that out too Charlie

    Looking good mate! U must be itching to drive it:D finished the last few bits on mine today and turned the key but the batterys dead haha, need to go and get my jump leads from the lockup 2morrow.

    U dont need to take any out. I fitted mine over the original dails and left the bulbs in. They wont shine through except the odometer, may as well change that for a blue bulb while your at it. Be carefull with the strips there very delicate they should fall into place, dont bemd them. They plug into the transformer you should have got with the kit. Pretty simple job tbh

    I know an old boy in glasgow who has one i was offered it really cheap last year, i could have sold the engine for more tbh lol. Not all of them have the 5efhe some have just the 5efe

    aye the previous owner quoted the fuel consumption lol aye the majority of the engine is under the dash. the steering wheel itself is pretty far from the windscreen tbh its a really wierd driving position. my dad says hes not touching any of the stickers now, they are all original and he wants to keep it that way, even if they do look a bit shit lol i got a couple pics inside with my fne but the quality is poor im sitting on the rear bench seat taking the photo that folds down into a massive bed. forgot to get a pic tho. still not driven it! or been out in it. hopefully get insurance sorte

    Just back from visiting geo, got the ignitor and a wee bit of wiring loom so i can get a few other bits working. So it should be running very soon! Had a wee read through this thread aswell and I've forgotton to say thanks to a few people. Thanks geo firthe last of the parts and helping me out with a few bits over the fne, oh and thanks for fixing my puncture on the transit before i headed home. by the way im still considering that turbokit lol ill get back to you on that;) Thanks idrees for my timing belt kit, turbokit gaskets and a few other bits n bobs at a great price and delivered in jig

    Apparantly it does 24 miles to the gallon. It has a side exit at either side too haha i cant believe the noise from it! Ateam paint job would be awesome but i know he wont do it:( He wants the stars and stuff off but hes keeping the bullet hole stickers lol

    Its getting machine polished tomorrow abd hes getting the wheels re done, im gonna recarpet it aswell. Dont think i could talk him into painting it or anything. I still cant believe he baught this. Its normally old fiat or renualt motorhomes he goes for. The only cool 1 he ever had before was a 76 vw baywindow camper but that never saw the road. Im going on the insurance 2morrow:D cant wait to take it out for a rip! It sounds awesome!
