  5. Just anything with 2 prongs that will fit into the holes and brace them to hold it steady. Thing I bought was adjustable, although you could probably make something yourself easily enough, one bar with 2 holes in, and another bar with 2 holes in, join them in a Y shape and on the ends put 2 bolts that will fit into the pulley holes, sorted.

  7. Pulley bolt I bought a tool to fit into the two holes in the pulley to hold it tight then came off no problem.
  8. Easy enough to do, bit of a pain for access from what I remember but not mental hard.
  9. Shame to see that this has happened and you are quite rightly not pleased with the quality of the item. Hopefully this gets sorted out so both parties are satisfied in the end. Although quite surprised anyone would want to ship a product when they know there are holes in it.

  11. At the end of the day it is, but it depends what you want from your car in my opinion. If you just want a car to go quickly in that's got all the mod cons then probably best off buying a different car. But for most I guess it is the fact that you can make a car quite quick for not a huge outlay of cash and what cash is spent is not one big lump sum like a more expensive car would be. Or for some it is the getting there and learning about things as they progress rather than the actual finished project which is why some people sell quite soon after finishing a project.   12. Get in with a smaller company and they will put you through the courses, my company did for me. Also ad hoc is usually the way to start as well, unless you get lucky or know someone.
