  3. bucket, head to gmc in newton stewart, £40 an hour on the rollars, plus £30 an hour for tech whilst the cars on the rollers, even if you just go for a power run, they whack on the afr, and would give it a tweak, my mate is running fpr and FCD and he got 193bhp with them, his starlets been running 2 years with no probs, captain starlet it is on tgtt. pm him, im going to gmc next week hopefully for the same thing, im fitting it myself, just having them tweak the fueling and give me a power run.
  4. i waited about 5 months for mine, looked for a quad gt, nearly ended up with two black ones, but wanted a quad, altho in the 5 or 6 months i was looking i kept spending on my 106 lol, so couldnt have two cars at once, then by chance my gt came up bout 20mins from where my 106 was going, so just drove mine down, viewed the gt, decided i liked it, sold the 106 and went back to get the gt an hour after viewing it. pitty im prob gunna have to sell after xmas, as ive no storage place for it, and im off outa the uk for 6 months i would say dont rush into it, would never sell my car, and be without
  5. edited, spoken, and he aint no help lol
  6. are you puttin a turbo on the 4efe? if not, then dont bother, it wont fit the exhaust setup, you will need a 4 branch or the likes for a corolla 4efe
  7. aye, love 16v's like this, i used to have a 16v xsi, and a 16v quicksilver, i love the ax though, there is one on 106moaners, and its lovely like, white with balck kit, and my mate had a white cituning one, i love old cars like that lol you should deffo go for the disc beam as cat said, makes a helluva difference, only thing is you will have to change the handbrake cable, and get rid off the compensator.
  8. would also say comp test it before you do much else, but these things are hard to guess without being a run in the car.
  9. most people bypass them mate, so you dont get the boost restriction in 1st and second gear. but niether of your pics are it bypassed oh and the 2nd pic is the correct way round
  10. south shields mate, south shields, dont think its that close, never see people about i seen a ice blue glanza in total garage in sunderland yesterday, but aint seen no others about lol
  11. tell me about these meets aswell, altho is teeside not miles from shields? i aint got a clue, not local you see, i thot people went to roker, but i never see no cunt there on a sunday lol
  12. i think youve answered it yourself mate. for the extra £££ people will buy a hybrid, or just get a second hand one for £60 or £70 instead. i know id put up the extra and just get a hybrid
  13. when youve played with it, and decide you still want a starlet, pm me lol, i keep looking on the thread just because i love the look of these
  14. yeh both are quite nice like, they aint all that different from my 5zigens, but i wana refurb a set, and need a set to put on whilst i do them
  15. im off to confused now, i love the look of this red one though, was prob the first car i actually "wanted" when i was young, this and a white quadlight, and i just dont love the look of the quadlight like i do the crx
  16. i wanna refurb them, so they look kinda like my old alloys on my 106, well same design, but black and white, heres a pic, for a bit of an idea white spokes, black lip
  17. well got offered some wheels pretty decently priced i thought, considering they came with two new tyres, and i need a couple, been told there pretty rare, just wondering what others think i bought them to refurb, but im unsure of colours, im thinking just white, as my car is a white quadlight there A tech Sneiders cheers anyone know anything about these wheels??
  18. x2, ive always liked them. how is it for rust or that mate? and whats the insurance like on those? im temted to get one, or offer a swap for my gt lol. i like them, but always been under the impression there bad for insurance, an dodgey rear arches anyways, looks tidy as feck
  19. if it was running summit at 1.6 bar, its overfueling, and bogging it down. dont run it untill youve got the fueling sorted, or an AFR gauge to prove it
  20. problem solved the SAFC is now recieving the corrupt signal from the FCD, how can it then work properly??
  21. is the fcd closer to the ecu than the SAFC2
  22. what was the SAFC2 on before?? they save the settings, so watch out for that did you fit the FCD before or after the SAFC, ie closer to the ecu??
  23. let me know when, i like them, and if the price is right, i'd be very interested
  24. but if your chasing 500bhp, then we all know the 3sgte is safe as houses at that teritory, try gettin a 5e there for the same price, its a no go area after that all depends on how deep your pockets are, and how far your willing to go
