boost creep is usually caused by either a weak actuator not holding the boost, cold weather can cause it, as cold weather, more dense air, more Oxygen, better combustion, more power. a look for a FCD would help, but if its fitted, you shouldnt get fuel cut. does sound like fuel cut.

aint used it before, but a few mates have, its just a get home thing, i have the spare wheel aswell, but bought it when i had the 106 and no spare, and still have it tyre goes flat, just whack it in, away you go, like expandable foam, but makes a mess inside the rim. my tools done fly about, fit in the boot nicely lol

i carry the halfords 200pc or 150 pc proffesional tool kit, there screw driver set, pliers, long nose aswell, wire cutter. the standard jack, a can of tireweld, and a little LED torch, i got used to carryin this in the 106 gti, and now i just carry it, wouldnt believe the amount of beers ive got for sorting mates out, get phone calls all the time lol

yup, start it up, set turbo timer to 5, let her idle and hide back in the house, in this cold weather i do it twice, then the car is warm inside lol, then i dont ever boost my car untill i need to, like slip ways etc, very rarely does my car get on boost, i drive around on low boost settin aswell. bit of a waste for a turbo car, but i dont see the point in hashing it unless its for a reason.
