i would hardly say my post is aggressive, nor is it meant in agressive manner. but its a daft question. what else does he expect to happen.
-
you'll still be gay, mainly due to asking this shit question. its a car ya retard. what else do you expect to happen? go backwards for a bit, and then forwards?
-
im not telling you where i live, buy your own, your not stealing mine for your car.
-
one of the dutch members or summit has got them ive got two sets on my rear lights, and some beemer halo rings in my quadlights.

do you know what an lsd does? do you think it would stop torque steer? limited slip diff, reduces power loss, via wheelspinning, thus putting more power down to the road. this would create more torque steer if anything, or atleast ,more of a feeling. the best way to control it is to play with it, makes you feel like your cars faster than it is lol.
-
did you port the wastegate, whilst the turbo was still on the car? looks good apart form the fog light. im sure ive seen it afore aswell.
-
can drive it from cold if you want, people are lettin the oil warm up, and this doesnt happen properly sitting still, sitting at idle for 10 mins uses fuel, now say youve took it out 5 times, thats 50 mins at idle, plus whatever time you let it cool, thats an hour, just for arguments sake, thats a few litres of fuel. your roughly averaging 28mpg. but your happy to accept others getting 30mpg with a td04. just cause its got a bigger turbo, makes no odds really, not if your granny driving. what rpm does your car idle at?
-
i aint scott, and im sure the fella has access to google aswell. his consumption is nothing out of the ordinary, and i would say he has no problems. Like ive stated the car is being started and stopped alot, and as the owner has said, the car has been warmed up properly, now to warm a car up, at idle, which might i state, never warms the car up properly, the oil doesnt get anywhere near warm. but the car is sitting there, combusting away, whilst the wheels arent turning, thus using fuel, but not putting anthing on the odometer.

or you could just look on www.howstuffworks.com. kina like what some1 above has done.

firstly, i dont believe its only been on high boost a few times, its a new car to you, and you will be giving it some. secondly, starting and stopping of a car often, uses alot of fuel, £10 of V power, is what, 8 litres or sumit at current price, or for easy sake, say 2 gallon. 78km, is 50 miles, so 25mphg in a gt, being stopped and started all the time, and given a few boost runs, thats pretty normal fuel consumptions.

the first one sold for a mil? i doubt that very much. unless of course a mil is a slang term for a few grand? there was about 200,000 undated ones produced, there not that rare, and certainly not worth much more than the mint offer for them.

repost, must be atleast a year old repost aswell. oh, and when it first happened, there wer loads, and they sold for £50 - £400. so the price is a bit wild.

Would A 205 Gti Engine Fit In My 1986 Starlet
scot-ish replied to naylor's topic in Welcome New Owners!
the 205 h404 gcs came form kilmarnock, thats where we bought it, the fella had two, lived in a wee culdy sack,( dont know if thats how you spell it) and was in his drive, he had a red 205 at the same time. we wer then took to a garage to see a 405 mi16 and a evo 2, one of his mates owned, but they had a few 309's there aswell, we nearly bought one of them for the track aswel. im sure the guy from the garage was a mod or summit on ayr shore cruise. i think in the next few years, when i get some time ashore, i will have a 4efte pug, either a 205, or if i can get a clean 309, then i'd prefer one -
Would A 205 Gti Engine Fit In My 1986 Starlet
scot-ish replied to naylor's topic in Welcome New Owners!
i have also had atleast ten 205's(1.6, 1.9's on carbs, mi16, s16, gti6 on bodies, and my mate even hada turbo gti6) or 106's( about 5 xsi's, 16v's, vtr engine on bodies, GMC built ax feature car engine in 1 of my 106's) and a few other peugeots, i know enough about them engines to say the 205 engines are not particularly strong, and the statement about power, maybe so, that are over 20years old now, and 120bhp was a good bit of power then without a blower here are some of mine, and my mates track car aswell 1.8 deisel bottom end, 1.9 head, 1.6 gearbox. was fun till it spat a rod. the -
dawn was around 6am today iddy, you could have squezed another 2 hours of food in there lol. i know when i studied, there wer alot of saudi's on my course, and the most of them slept from 4pm after college, untill 10 pm, and then satyed awake all night, when they had there meals, and ate at intervals, and then when it got to around 7am they had there last meal. they seemed quite proud of the idea lol., i dont know if i would stick to it. what is the main reasoning around it? cleansing the body or something?

ive been asked if the gt is a suzuki baleno. i always thought the glanza looks like a berlingo that someone stood on the roof off haha.
-
cheers for the explantion faisal. i was gunna ask about it, is a was sure iddy put a thing up not long ago about eid, and i thought it was only an annual thing? how many are there per year? and do you guys have ramadan easy in the uk? as there is less hours of sunlight per day, than for example in the middle east.
-
i was guna go down this route, was stuck between one of these, and a scooby, and then i got a shot in a 330bhp starlet, and now ive gone an bought a 330bhp starlet aswell haha, so hopefully i wont be let down. if so, i will go into the "expensive car" game next year lol good luck with it tho, keep us updated.

i think youl find the mi16 is from a 405, not a 205. the 205 1.6 and 1.9 are weak engines, ive had plenty, i was peugeot for 5 or 6 years before i came to this side. mi16 on bodies, a few 1.9 on carbs, 1.6 on carbs, plenty of variations between me and my mates, and the peugeot 205 engines are not strong, and dont make no power, there 8v's and they last at standard power, but when you push them right up, the shit themselves. the car is only a legend because of how well balanced the chassis is, and for fwd, its the best handling car ive ever drove. i looked into a 4efte to put into the 205 a -

i looked into this before, simple enough to be honest, and i know how good powerful 205's are. the 205 gti engine is a daft idea into the starlet tho, then engine is not very strong, lots of weak points, its no good for above 200bhp, a 4efte makes that easy. but you cant beat the noise of a gti6 on bodies. -
and people who cant afford real paint lol.

looks like she's coming on pretty well fella, im back onshore in a few weeks, and if im near glasgow, i shall come over for a wee nosey at her. but like youve said. the wee man is more important than a car. -
nope, there are plenty more cars from the group B era i would pick before a 6R4. dont get me wrong, engineering wise, theyre quite special, but there just not for me.
-
i love the cossie, i am contemplating buying an escort cossie next year. but 6r4 to me are nothing special, to me they look like a wide kitted nova with a big rear engine.
