  1. RIP M762 FNW, Third owner after me wrote it off it seems, that's another one in the graveyard
  2. O.Z. F1's, had them on my old GT. Stupidly heavy for a 15" alloy.
  3. Actually this is the V2 so 450W RMS. Can vouch for this sub as I picked it up for Amjad and have seen and heard it in his car, very good subwoofer and a bargain at that price tbh. Especially really light compared to the 12" version which in a starlet, lightweight is key! Good luck with the sale!
  4. Yes Amjad! Always wanted to see a nice custom race style splitter on your car, anyone got any ideas? Make this happen!
  5. Ahh damn! Really wanna know who it was, it was immaculate.. I hope it's local to me and not just someone passing through! Starlets seem to appear after I've sold mine
  6. Ahh I love this car, even though it's running less than standard power ;). Nah man you know I love this EK and is easily one of my fav cars you've owned and one of the loudest cars I've been in ;)
  7. I really wanted an E46 but for some reason insurance was diabolical on anything with a 6 cylinder plant whereas my E90 was half the price :S
  8. My car history from 18 to 20 (current) 1997 Toyota Starlet 1.3 16v Sportif 5dr - at 18 (RIP OCt 2011) 2000 Volkswagen Golf 1.6 8v SE (Spent way too much on this, was still shite) - At 18 (Jan 2012-Feb 2013) 1994 Toyota Starlet GT Turbo TD04L - At 19 (Feb 2013 - Sept 2013) 2005 BMW 325i SE E90 2.5 Manual - At 20 (Sept 2013 - Present)
  9. Might have been a G reg! I just noticed it was a nice dark green MK1! Are you from around Bedford Hill/South London then? Actually your plate ends in H and I was on the move/too busy looking at the car, it might've been you! Was in the morning around 9.15ish?
  10. Again good luck with the sale, really hope this doesn't get broken Really did love this car! Someone snap this up and put a new/rebuilt engine in it! It's been around for too long to die now!
  11. Saw you coming the other way up Bedford hill last week, dark green H reg MK1 GT looked immaculate and standard, was in my BMW 325i so you probably wouldn't have noticed me. Are you on here?
  12. If it was R9*9 PHG the new owner isn't on here but the car was sold by a member on here recently.. 96 spec front with 98 spec rear?
  13. Tbh I had this off my mates too, I sold my MK4 Golf to get my GTT and everyone was like your golf was so much newer and spec'd and modern what a downgrade OH EM GEEE etc etc, but the ones who understood cars, understood where I was coming from. I'm back in a 'modern' car now in the shape of a BMW 325i E90 and tbh I miss my GT and I'd love another one but needed something big/comfortable and I always get the stereotypes at my age in a BMW (I'm 20, and no it's not on finance and daddy didn't buy it for me). But I understand why people that aren't into cars do finance newer cars. It's to impress
  14. And no FMIC.. otherwise it could be disastrous
  15. It belonged to Andy Oak, then N80Jamie on here, then all-legend, then me (for most of 2013), then a member on here called Tanveer who sold it after two weeks.. Then this guy. So I don't think so!
  16. My old car! Good luck with the sale but having owned this car for 7 months I can say unless the next owner (which I doubt) put it on there, this car does not have a cusco LSD. Never the less this will be an incredibly good car when sorted. GLWTS.
  17. The toyota corsa is also known as a toyota tercel, there used to be a few locally.
  18. Don't talk yourself down, 60k motor But yeah everyone should just stop the speculation cause there'll be no way of seeing a fair 'proper' race between these two cars unless arranged!
  19. I admire the sarcasm haha I don't even own a starlet anymore but still love 'em. Tbh we can all speculate whatever but without any actual evidence or these two cars actually going properly at it we'll never come to a proper conclusion. Anyway to the OP, Good race and I reckon personally it would've been close till triple figures where the Panamera would've pulled away.
  20. I'm not saying the Panamera is slow and I didn't say the Glanza was meant to slaughter it.. I said that it would've had it/been a close race because tbh the panamera in question isn't exactly the stupidly quick turbo petrol.. it's the diesel which a 330d could beat tbh. In regards to the 0.9bar glanza vs EP3 I'm not sure because I've only had a TD04 starlet so I don't know how 0.9 on a CT9 performs, but I don't think it'd be too far off an EP3 - just my opinion.
  21. I'm not saying it's slow, it's a fast and capable car, just with power to weight into consideration, the panamera weighs a fucktonne and has 246bhp.. so is only EP3 pace on paper. Therefore in my opinion the Glanza would've had it.
  22. The diesels do 6.6 to 60 and top out at 150 mate.. a Glanza should be able to have it IMO, that's about as fast as my 325i is on paper (I understand its about midrange but still)
  23. The plate comes up as 'Registration: Y70DJC Manufacturer: PORSCHE Model: PANAMERA DIESEL SALOON 3.0 V6 Diesel 4dr Tiptronic S Model Year: 2012' So yeah the Glanza at 0.9bar would've had it tbh. If it was a panamera turbo it'd be a different story.
  24. Hey! Another Mauritian here albeit from the UK, welcome to the forums and as Amjad mentioned, the starlets and other Japanese cars in the Mauritian tuning scene are incredible and if I could move there when I'm done qualifying I would in an instant! I hope you find a good Glanza/GT and there's lots of things you'll learn on this forum about them! Welcome!
  25. Aww I liked the O.Z's! For the record for anyone looking they're O.Z. F1's 15x6.5J 4x100, can't quite remember the offset though!
