Yeah the oil line ive got fits it thats not an issue, i've just read of the hole in the bolt needing to be a certain size to control the amount of oil flow thats all, i'll get a picture soon

I'm sure I've read somewhere that some td04 oil feed bolts have a larger hole some have a smaller one, now I've seen these bolts that just look like a standard bolt, now the one I've just bought has threads either side with like a nut in between, one side screws into the turbo, the other side the oil line screws onto, and it has a hole straight threw the centre, Will it work I'm and is there a necessary size the hole has to be?

Mine has the occasional bit of smoke which I assumed was the turbo due to it only happening since fitting a decat, therefore I did the compression test to ensure it.

It's on top of the throttle body usually under a black grommet, think u need to put it in diag to set it

Have you fitted a new engine mate, could be vac lines on wrong if so as iiirc your engine failed recently or am I thinking of the wrong person? Try adjust the idle screw?

It might scrape the floor a bit mate, with no wheels :/ ;)

I remember in an old car I had mate I ordered a reducer to clamp on but the seller got mixed up with the sizes I wanted and it was wrong, took it to a mechanic I know and he tacked it together and then filled with weld, not the best solution but it worked, was only like. 0.5cm gap all the way around on mine though

Not trying to ruin your sale mate but in the pics the exhaust side looks a bit oily, is that just the photo?

How much difference is there between the flange pipe size and yours? You could probably get away with just welding it if its not too much

Edit: just googled it apparently still accurate results with te other plugs in just puts more work on the battery...oh well it's a new batt lol

Hi mate, I just removed one plug at a time as the instructions told me to, will that still be accurate? Was done on a warm engine with efi fuse and king lead removed and throttle open. The mileage on the engine is roughly 70k miles mate serviced just before every 3000 miles since I've had it

Just done a compression test to ensure my engine has the best chance of coping with td04. The results I've got were: Cylinder 1--------Cylinder 2--------Cylinder 3-------Cylinder 4 172----------------176-----------------175----------------175 Is this ok?

Thanks mate, got some more to come soon Probably more than I should of, £100 but the guy lives ten minutes from me, wouldn't end the auction early so let me go and inspect it, he modifies and works in subarus and seemed and honest guy, he showed me the service history from the car it came off(a 52 plate wrx with full Subaru history, on 50k miles) the car belongs to one of his customers who's a doctor and barely drives the car apparently lol, I would usually assume he was spinning me a line but he seemed very honest and has given me his address with the promise of returning it if anythings wrong.... I'm going up to collect it tomorrow, then I need to get on to dean to make me an adaptor plate up

Got a wepr power up kit, no wastegate included, it's that good I'm planning to get it adapted to fit td04 unless you want to make me a decent offer?
