    I towed by starlet when I bought it less than 15miles one cv in and the other out came to building it and had same problem bearing was ruined

    Bearing not sat square or drive shaft hiting hub take a look where the shaft goes through the hub Have you towed the car with no shafts in?

    Might wanna try and get that outlet on the matrix round again as a pipe won't seal on it

    Pull the cable off the gear box and check how stiff it is... That will tell which part it it cable selector unit or gearbox Could be selector or seizing shafts
