  6. New crank seal costs about £12 delivered from Camskill, as i've just ordered one yesterday. You can also buy one for the gearbox side so make sure you get the right one
  7. It's usually classed as market value. All they do is enter the age/milage and car into a program called Glasses Guide and it gives them a book figure. Also what dealerships use to price up used cars. If you've got receipts for recent servicing, tyres etc, and like for like cover on mods and also proof it's above market value, then you can submit that in your favour to get them to increase the value. Doesn't always work but it's worth the hassle to try. Also, if your car is registered as a standard starlet instead of a GT or Glanza, or that's the criteria they've used, then that would exp
  8. I don't think so as this happens every time I stop, but when i'm driving normally the car behaves / accelerates as normal. I imagine a sticky cable would be intermittent? I'm not sure if the idle control valve would be responsible for such behaviour, or if the throttle body has problems, just hoping someone who has fixed this might have the answer.
  9. Hi all I've searched around and read a few thread about dodgy idles but I can't quite find an answer. My car has been running fine for ages, but now when I pull up to traffic lights etc, it'll sit just under 2k revs when idle. If i blip the throttle, it'll settle down and return to normal - until I next pull up to some lights and it'll just do it again.. Any ideas what might cause this to happen? i've not removed any parts or fiddled with anything mechanical, idle sensors, throttle bodies, ecu's etc for well over a year, so I know I haven't done anything to cause it. Cheers
  10. I have the fidanza one in mine and there is a noticeable difference going up and down the revs. Wasn't expensive either so well worth throwing in next time the gearbox is off

  17. Hi guys I urgently need a Glanzas drivers side mirror, for my 99v. The electrics must be fully working! I had one delivered today and it was broken in transit. Car is booked into a bodyshop Tuesday so it would need to be posted tomorrow using a 24hr service. Let me know guys. Please DM me and if you know anyone selling one, please send them my way Cheers
