  1. Best bet is measuring up the standard rails against your new seats and seeing what is actually required. If the rails are wider than the seats or vice versa, then you'll need to make up additional brackets or something to get them on. Even with Bride rails, I had to have additional brackets welded on to fit my Corbeau seats
  2. The first thing to check is what anti virus program you have. If you're using anything Norton/Symantec or Mcafee related, then bin it for something more lightweight. Windows XP/Vista/7 you can use Microsoft Security Essentials, and Windows 8 has Windows Defender built in. Download a program called Hijackthis and run it (as an Administrator), and export the log file. Paste it onto here if you want and i'll tell you what you can remove. This makes a massive difference. Slow performance can also be caused my Malware. Use Malware Bytes to give your system a scan, and remove anything it fin
  3. I got mine from Fensport. They still sell them for about £300 http://www.fensport.co.uk/Parts/Model_40/Category_3/
  4. Gorgeous car. How much is the insurance compared to the Glanza?
  5. Apparently BBC production staff knew about the car registration and likely controversy before the car was even bought, but personally it's not something i'd have identified had it not been all over the news. I wouldn't be surprised if the wankers over at the Daily Mail informed people in Argentina they were coming, as they kept on and on about it! The program though was entertaining, predictable as usual and some of the scenery is stunning. Would quite like to go there!
  6. Cheers guys. Got home and jumped in it and it released straight away, so I've dumped it in my garage for another month.
  7. Hi all Drove my car last night, absolutely fine. This morning I drive it off the driveway and the rear left wheel is stuck! Would this be a handbrake issue or general stuck caliper? I tried rocking it but it didn't free up! Also threw boiling water over it in case it was frozen but that made no difference. I don't really know anything when it comes to brakes and this time of year, most garages are shut - and I can't get it there. Cheers for any help!
  8. Mine goes off the ignition switch, so when the key is turned, they illuminate.
  9. Corbeau seats aren't a direct fit so you'll need to have rails custom made or modified to get them in. I've got Corbeau Boss seats which recline, but still hold you in place quite nicely.
  10. A quick update as haven't done a lot - all my money is going on my wedding, or paying off what I spent in Vegas! :s The old girl developed another oil leak which turned out to be the rocker cover gasket, so that's been replaced again and all ok now. She passed it's MOT needing just a CV boot so that's done too. The front number plate has been bolted on as it kept falling off - I found one stuck to the side of a pub wall in Dorking! Another minor issue that's appeared is it likes to idle around 3000rpm, so not sure what's causing that. The rear brake pads, new tyres and an alignment wil
  11. Some photos here mate, scroll down http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/62972-arnolds-99v-glanza-build-headgasket-done-2179hp/#entry807657
  12. Not Essex but Fusion Motorsport in Chertsey (The other side of the M25 from you) did this for me. They've got my Corbeau seats fitted in my Glanza.
  13. I had the air con fitted with my WEPR FMIC on the CT9 setup, but the air-con rad had to go when I went TD04
  14. Ok guys thanks for the replies. I'll get the new tyres ordered and get an alignment booked in Cheers Al
  15. Not for a couple of years now. I've also recently had a CV Boot changed but not sure that'll throw things out? It wasn't full, only small positive and the other was always neutral, so I've only adjusted it slightly. Wasn't expecting such dramatic results
  16. Hi guys I've got quite a big issue with the handling on my Glanza. For ages the Meister Coilovers have had odd camber adjustments on them, one being neutral, the other positive camber. It's been like this for a couple of years and I've never felt completely confident with the handling, so I've stuck them both back to neutral. Now in order to go in a straight line, I have to have my steering wheel facing about 45 degrees left. I didn't think having both neutral cambers would cause this to happen, so anyone got any ideas why it's like this? If one side was higher than the other, would i
  17. Took my tyre place three attempts to balance the wheels correctly when they fitted mine!
  18. I can't seem to find them mate, their website has changed quite a bit since I got them.
  19. FYI, my brand new set of Rota Grids cost £430 delivered, from Rota.
  20. Yeah, but obviously it's down to the buyer to make all the delivery arrangements. Have they said when you'll be getting it, and provided a tracking number etc?
  21. I got all my LED bulbs from Ultraleds. The fog lights are very bright! One each side too
  22. I took some photos of a nice black Glanza on your stand. My Glanza was down with Total Jap (if anyone saw it). Photos coming soon
  23. Hi all Does anyone have the plastic cover that fits over the interior light, for a Glanza available? I'm also after a cheap ashtray that sits near the gearstick, again to be modified. Let me know what you've got. I'll be at Santa Pod Sunday so saves the hassle of postage etc. Cheers Arnold
  24. I'll be there on the day with Total Jap
