I went last month and a family were sitting in our allocated seats. I said they were ours and the silly bint said Yeah but our kids wanted to sit here. GRR, just sit where your ticket says to!

I couldn't get the terminals out mate, so I might have to cut and re-join. I'm sure it's possible, I just couldn't figure it out!

** SOLD ** GT Driving Force Steering Wheel, Pedals And Stand
Arnold replied to Sefton-EP91's topic in General Sales Items
Did you sell this? I've just managed to flog mine for £60 without a stand, (on eBay), so there's still a market on there for them. Cheers Arnold -
My blitz nur spec exhaust with no bung is 98.6 db, so enough to fail a static at some events. If you have a screamer pipe, that'll probably fail drive by sound checks. Good tyres and brakes are a must. A standard car could hit brake fade after a couple of laps and you don't want to be hitting the brakes, and they're not there. I'd also consider lowering tyre pressures a bit before going out as they'll also go quite high.

Hi all I've finally got the correct sized LED's i need to swap out on my front indicators, however as they didn't work, i'm told they are reversed polarity and I need to swap the wires over. Easy enough to do if i cut and swap the wires around, but does anyone know if it's possible to remove the wires from the bulb holder and swap them over that way? Cheers Arnold

I've done quite a few but the most obvious one I can think of is I once wanted to take the boot spoiler off a Citroen AX GT in a scrappy. I unbolted the thing not realising that the bolts also hold the boot on, and the whole lot came crashing down on my head

I started work as a Junior IT technician, and worked my way up that company to basically become the IT manager and lead technician. I switched roles, gained 6 Microsoft certifications (2X MCSA, MCITP, MCTS, etc) which helped land the job i'm in now. Since being here, I've been promoted to head of telephony and systems admin. As long as you can adapt and progress yourself along the way, and know when it's right to move sideways in a company or jump ship to go up the ranks, then it'll work out. It's been hard work though, especially the studying for exams, but it's worth it. Life is too shor

Nice editing ;) Interior festoon 31mm bulb is type 269. Bulb 264 (mentioned above) is 42mm.

I've just used this guide to replace some bulbs, only to find they didn't fit. Indicators - 382 bulbs have 180 degree fitment pins, whereas my Glanza has 120 degree pins, which is bulb type 581. Also, the interior light bulb that goes in the roof is 31mm long, as yes, they come in different sizes which isn't mentioned either. Cheers Al

I'll be in track time parking, see you there

Yeah it's because the money isn't really there. They can't give it back if it hasn't been taken from the source account. The same way cheques are credited to your account even though they haven't cleared.

Night before my wedding, probably won't be able to go! Would be in otherwise

Arnolds 99V Glanza build - New WEPR TD04 Kit :D
Arnold replied to Arnold's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
Well the car made it to Japfest fine after having its manifold repaired, and gave it a blast around the track. The back end felt light in a lot of the bends, and understeered quite a bit as well, so generally didn't have much confidence in it. Still, I didn't crash and was able to drive it home with a bit of a whine coming from somewhere, but it lives to race another day. Some photos, taken by others -
This is where mine let me down. The handling on track was pretty poor, lots of back end movement and not much confidence in the brakes. Watching it back on the video, it looked quite slow, but I really didn't feel confident enough to go any quicker. My mate watching said it looked like a handful Photos I took will be uploaded to http://www.facebook.com/alanarnoldphotography in the near future

Japfest Track Time for my Glanza... Anyone able to help out?
Arnold replied to Browner's topic in Show Archives
Keep an eye out for last minute stuff being sold on the day. They sometimes open up a few slots in the afternoon for the end sessions -
Mine's at the local garage having my manifold re-welded, again, so just needs that and a good clean

My glanza back at the garage again having my Tuning Developments turbo manifold re-welded for the third time. Hoping to have it back this week as it'll be on track at Japfest, this Saturday -
There's a 100A slow blow fuse that usually goes when you do this. Have you swapped that?

I use 5w50 fully synthetic motorsport oil, even for daily use. As recommended by my tuner

Biggest achievement is getting there, due to work hours, opening times and other commitments, but I don't really do much weight when i'm there. More of a general fitness thing. Biggest success is probably cycling London to Brighton + 10 miles either end, or racing in a go kart for 4 hours solid on a couple of hours sleep.

I forgot to book a stand pass so i'll decide on the day if it's raining or not. Track was fun last time but the queue to register was a joke, and I missed half my track session trying to drive through the queues of people and cars to get to the grid! If you have a session, give plenty of time to get on
