where are the best roads to drive in the uk to have a bit of fun?
Arnold replied to mart1's topic in Lifestyle General
Isle of Skye, Scotland, for the scenary / backdrops. -
I've had two flexi's in mine and my mani still cracked three times! You can buy flexi's off ebay though and have them welded in

Dome fuse in the engine bay might have blown

Nice. I guess I can't buy the same size spacers in case my wheels are a different offset, but they're definitely on my shopping list

Swapping over TD04 Manifolds. Straight swap?
Arnold replied to Arnold's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
It originally cracked under warranty but they offered to repair it instead of replace, so had it done locally instead. When I took it to the place to be done, I met a guy there who also had a TD manifold that had cracked! This was over a year ago now.- 7 replies

Thanks for that. I think this appeals to me most instead of buying a second hand one, so will look into what they have. Cheers guys- 7 replies

Have you got a blog? Wouldn't mind seeing what that looks like

I've got a Tuning Developments TD04 Ex Wastegate manifold which is made of cheese, and continues to crack despite several re-welds and braces added. I've had enough of it, and want to swap it out for something better made. Is it likely I can just get one from WEPR or Zisco etc, and swap it like for like, or will I need to get a whole new downpipe too? Cheers for any help Al

These were for sale at JAE for £45. Almost bought one but chose to have my dents pulled out instead! They also do a slightly different colour scheme so it's not brown at the bottom

There's a possibility my radiator on my 99V is leaking, as there's a load of water sitting along the bottom of it and coolant is down as well, so does anyone have one for sale? Ideally as mint as possible. Cheers

Go up to a woman and drink their drink, then offer to buy them one

I've got the EBC discs and pads and managed to crack a set after not very long. Received a second set under warranty, and they're pretty good, use them on track etc but I know the Wilwood or K Sports would be much better. Don't forget tyres though. If you have amazing brakes and shit rubber, you'll not slow down that quick!

I'd recommend the Dremel option, but cheap Dremel cutting discs or ebay specials will just shatter, so get decent ones.

Arnolds 99V Glanza build - New WEPR TD04 Kit :D
Arnold replied to Arnold's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
Fronts sorry. The rears have been converted to LED already, with some details about that conversion somewhere on the first page. I've upgraded the front sidelights and indicators. Had to change the polarity of the indicators and connect up a set of load resistors too. Worth the hassle as they're very bright! -

I haven't posted since Japfest as I've been busy getting married and stuff, so some small updates. The day before Japfest 2, I was taken out on a roundabout by some woman in the wrong lane. The damage is fixable, and thankfully their insurance admitted liability and settled on a payment after a few days. They were talking about writing it off at one point, but I don't think they realised the actual value of it at the time, and just assumed it was a UK Starlet. So a few photos, which i've previously posted in a different thread. I've acquired a replacement front wing, and front -
I'm not doing Creamfields, but SW4 in Clapham instead. I'll get up to Creamfields one year!

Doubt it, that's just a fuel control system.

Anyone else notice next to no difference having full beam on after fitting HID's? Not only that, but my full beam light on my dash board no longer comes on

Do you have any build up inside the filter bit too? Mine is open to atmosphere and a ton of gunk has come out all over my nearside wishbone
