Crank was lightened and balanced I believe, standard crank pulley, the one noticeable thing was pitting in the bearing shells although it hadn't damaged any of the crank, but I did find a length of sump sealant in the oil ways when I took the engine apart
-
Ya think? LolAnd thanks rob that's real handy!
-
Might see if I can get 74.5mm from them as wiseco aren't replying about replacements for my forged pistons

Da ja vu? -
The snooper I had basically just mapped stationary permanent cameras and beeped a you got closer, you'd need to look at the spec to see if this does anything else
-
To an extent - you need it when on boost you need excess fuel to help cool the cylinders, too much and you'll get bore wash.

I can link you to one on eBay next day delivery free £130 ish for arm uego or £150 ish for plx dm6 multi gauge, look the plx up on YouTube, no calibration oscillating diagrams warns peaks etc and can be linked to up to 6 other units to display boost, temperatures and pressures etc. I went for the plx and it's been very user friendly!

He was at fusion Motorsport in Surrey

^ bulb gone? Usually does come on but they can be temperamental and not light when they should
-
Possibly clutch release bearing put your clutch in and see if it disappears but it could be a lot of things
-
Good luck mate and chin up! I can't imagine what your going through right now
-
Dei is the muts nuts costs a bomb though
-
Mine rarely does I haven't done all my system yet though, depends on fuelling and timming etc
-
eBay but it was from toyo, was the cheapest 10m I could find, but rbz got a bit from somewhere on eBay it it turned to plastic, there's a little bit of similar stuff wedged in my wepr manifold I just brought its like a crisp lol! Snaps off with ease never seen anything like it!
-
There's a difference then lol. I mean unbranded chinkywinky 10000bhp make car vewwy fast Jobby! I also run a fse sytec
-
Yeah they do work but build quality against sard/fse etc is basic at that, it's a danger if you ask me, £20 for a chinky one or £40-120 for a named one. I'd rather not risk my car! Each to their own though!
-
Is it misfiring?
-
Would you trust a eBay fuel reg? It has potential to be a fire hazard or cause your engine to run lean and melt among so many other things!
-
Brought a manifold and decat, brad was honest and manifold and decat arrived as described! Would buy from him again!

Why does my car not have an air filter?
TurboTobz replied to mowgli123's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
Hks actuator will be easy to fit. The filter should be sat on the left side of the turbo, I'd get one on there maybe for the meantime cut up your missus's kitchen sieve and make yourself a mesh there's a guide by socks on this forum -
10m if used properly may well do your exhaust. My best advice is get the tool for the cable ties it pulls them and cuts them for you! If you want pics look on my build thread. It's pretty simple just take your time before cable tie'ing it if you don't think it's quiet right start again! Check my pics of my manifold and downpipe, and there's a pic of the tool it's the same as used for doing cv boots! I used 10m and I still have a load in a bag ready for my exhaust although I now have a wepr kit so looks like I'll be ordering more lol. I hope you didnt get the shitty stuff some people sell on
-
He definitely did a ct12/ct9 and Adam I'm sure some one got around the 260 area with one I can't seem to find the thread but I was very surprised when I saw the print out
-
Adam, I know that's right but when it comes in I just expect to see a conrod fire out lol. Lags really not an issue, I don't boost a lot and when I do it's on long straights where I don't need incredible spool times. I don't know! It doesn't help my mrs is pregnant and with the td05 boosts well off the cards (her first and last reaction to it was to cry). I'd love to pick up a vf turbo but there's no chance I'm paying a huge amount for one I suppose it's my answer to this though, I'll wait until I find one cheap I have no idea which one I'd run! Wouldn't mind something similar to td05 in vf
-
yeah it's not bad but the force it comes in at must really bare a strain on a standard lump!
