I agreed with you Matt no need to forge it until looking for a bigger turbo or 250~+ I'm forging mine for reliability, and so I can run a bigger turbo!
I need a block, crank, bearing kit, headgasket, some new piston rings, and a replacement rod before the forged engines built lol. But yeah I think the td05 will be pretty mad at higher boost
I have forged internals sat here I really don't like ct9's they just feel so smooth and boring lol I like the aggression of a larger turbo. I suppose I've really been looking for a k24 equivalent, I miss that turbo kit a lot!
So I've been running a td05 @ 1 bar for a while now it's pointless so I am thinking about a change I know a td04 is the simple route but I want to have something different to the rest. Can anyone give me any advise? What puts me off is the size difference compared to 04 is the tf going to be completely gutless?
I had a similar incident recently just had car wrapped in white, crack crack, someones door smacking my quarter the women looked on as if to say oh well. I thought exactley the same! What's the point! But then having a grubby car gets me down!
I think anyone who can feel the difference is expiriencing the placebo affect lol. The only thing I see the difference of fuel on is mpg being much better on high octane on the glanza.
same suspension and wheels as my mate had also I have a picture I'll upload when I find the wire to my camera I have one on my phone but it's not clear I'll try uploading it later anyhow, his offset was 0 though looked like a gokart!
No problems mate! It's daunting at first you'll soon get into the swing of these cars! I'll always help where I can! And Daniel, I don't like brake fluid as much it kinda burns and tastes gank! Petrols pretty strange too aha
