  1. I might pop down, can only say on the night before though (lastminute.com)
  2. Most certainly Liam, the sooner all payments are in, the better. I'll send my money over tonight too.
  3. The 5EFHE has thicker rods and a higher lift exhaust cam compared to a 5E-FE. Everything else is the same, of course the rods don't matter as I'm forging it anyway.
  4. Cheers guys. 5E-FHTE sold, so it's time to build a forged 5E-FTE I am too busy with the business and my education so I'm getting my lazy brother (Tayyib) to remove the engines from both cars
  5. Is the ignition timing set right, where have you set it?
  6. Time for a forged 5E build (finally)

  7. As above, check the thickness of the pads and see if the discs are warped. In answer to your question, yes green stuff pads will be good with OEM discs
  8. I miss my old GT so much and that was the same colour, I'd buy it as another project if it was closer.
  9. You could have borrowed mine if you were closer!
  10. It will fit with modifications, I've seen it done before
  11. Yes
  12. Shaun, the engine stands are cheap and well worth the money so make sure you invest in one, makes engine building so much easier as you'll need to rotate it around etc. Taggy that's a perfect location to build it ;)
  13. These people know what they are doing. My dads shop got burgled 2 nights ago, they actually removed the glass and climbed through. I was the first one there and I didn't even notice what had happened!
  14. I posted this on Civiclife and it's now a 3 page thread. Even 99% of the Civic boys rated this, now that's saying something!! For anyone who thinks the 355 is not trying, just listen to the damn thing.
  15. Covered here too!
  16. I watched bits of it. It was too boring for me if I'm honest because I don't pay much interest in these night cruises etc Hopefully it'll be better next week though
  17. Thanks guys I have finally fitted my rear Whiteline ARB! It was only waiting around a year to be fitted All being well, the next step is a fresh forged 5E build. I can draw up some plans once I have sold the current 5E-FHTE, it's a waiting game right now but there's no rush. It's a shame I didn't get the chance to have it mapped as I really wanted to see what power it made at 1 bar, ah well.
  18. Dirty scum, they'll never change. Gutted about the work though dude, remember to ALWAYS keep a back up! I learned the hard way too by losing my USB pen!
  19. If you plan to go for bigger power later then go for a bigger setup ;) i.e. Zac's
  20. Great progress, keep it up!
  21. If you're on a budget, a set of good grooved discs and performance pads will be fine for road use with 170bhp.
  22. Awesome, sooo aggressive! I love the look!
