The TPS may also be different if it's an early EP82 (which it sounds like it is due to the alternator plug difference).

Yep, the Golf drives better then the Leon imo, and the interior is definitely more modern.

I would recommend a Mark 5 TDI instead, you can get one with about 100-120k miles for less than £3.5k.

We stock Michelin wipers and they're ace Only £8 each too so cheaper than other decent branded wipers. -
5w40 Fully or 10w40 Semi. I use 75w90 or 80w90 gear oil. Also, we have a few options on our website.
