    TBH its looking more like it will be broke than not, We are on with pricing/ buying the stuff we need for our loft conversion and bathroom and all the £££££££££££££££ need to be covered some how!

    Will it moved today (out of the tent and then back in) so I could do the timing belt on my combo van in the tent! I think thats the 3rd time since JAE lol I might get some interest back in it soon or it may end up as I stack of parts for sale to fund home improvements!

    If you make the gaps too big you will get blowby, too small and the rings will get tight as the engine gets hot.

    To mesure the ring gap you need to put the rings in the block (with out the piston) and mesure the gap in the ring with the feeler gauges to see if the gap is the correct size, its not realy a job you can do with just a file, its a specialist job realy and should be done by the machine shop when the do the boring

    Would depend on wat you plan to do with it really, would make a perfect track car but other than that it's not worth it.

    Like Adam said if it was that rich in the map it would not run properly and it would drink fuel, I think its something else causing the problem. >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WERU_oq9DvE I should have a dyno reading for it too but im struggling to find it too!

    If it was that rich the plugs would be black, have you checked the plugs? When this was on the dyno at Wills there was an issue with the rocker cover breather pipes shorting out the king lead, check thats not happening again because that causes a miss fire under load and it would also make it run rich as its not burning the fuel properly.
