  1. My first turbo set up on mine was done like this, worked perfect!
  2. I still have power steering but an electric pump not the one on the engine!
  3. You would not see any gains no, but the thing I like is because I'm running electric power steering I could remove the outer part of the pully as I dont need it 👍😀 You would not see any gains no, but the thing I like is because I'm running electric power steering I could remove the outer part of the pully as I dont need it 👍😀
  4. 4efe ones are dampened too, I run one on mine with no issues at all.
  5. Do you have the valve seat in for the waste gate?
  6. The N/A uses domed pistons there a lot taller than the turbo ones, you can't turn the cams with the belt off like you can the turbo, I've tried lol
  7. If its a 4efe as he states they are an interference engine, if its a FTE they should miss the valves. Put a belt on it and hope for the best! I got a way with it on my combo van and there known for making a mess!
  8. Few more bits! New strut brace, Made the brackets out of 12mm billet angle. Machined the ends for the bar out of solid bar. I machined the ends off the bolts too so there was nothing sticking out! Trimmed the brackets and test fitted the ends Bar welded in and the catch tank finished and fitted, just need to sort the pipes now and paint the brace brackets.
  9. Cheers Lads! Im not into light Tris, plus when the filter is in you would not see it anyway.
  10. Well the axles ready and waiting till I can get the car on the ramp for the weekend so I can paint under the car while the axle is out. So I started to make a new catch tank Rob H style! The welding is still not upto scratch but Im working on it! Its a bit overkill but it wouldn't be mine if it wasn't. Cut and folded, then welded up to form the tank. Then welded the AN-10 fittings onto plates and made baffles for them Then welded plates to the inside of the tank to bolt the fittings onto so they can be removed to be cleand. Then drilled and tapped the holes, dropped a bollock with one of them tho lol Next was to make the filter housing/ lid I fancied trying something different with this! its made from 12mm billet plate! This bit took about 4 hours lol all done by hand on the milling machine! the smaller letters I had to drill as holes and then file them out. counter drilled the holes so the bolt heads sit flush with the surface too! Next was the sight glass also made from 10mm billet plate! Made a bolt to secure it to the battery clamp bracket. As it looks now before finishing off More to come soon!
