Ill be fitting my calipers soon and im trying to find a good pad to use. Ive looked into the DS2500 and i decided that they were to expensive, so after reading some reviews i sorta made up my mind and thought ide have the mintex 1144's. Only problem is i cant find any of them. Ive checked the traders on here and over on GT4oc and ive even Googled the part number and nothing has come up. My last option would be to go for yellow stuff, but its strange that no where sells the mintex pads for the St185 haha. Anybody else found this and what pads are people running with the calipers? Cheers

Could be a number of things really. Could well be piston rings if it take a while to start and its puffing blue smoke. If you have a compression tester you could tests each cylinder for compression then put a slight bit of oil down the bore and test it again. If theres a good difference in readings then its most probably rings. I think im right in saying that but if not im sure ill be corrected ;)

Cheers for the replies. Brought an almost new set for £450 which i thought was ok considering there isn't a scratch on them haha. What camber are you gona run liam? Ive seen somewhere that 1 degree of negative its perfect?

If your car is pre 1996 N reg it wont be in the system as a 4efte which means that they will have to do a default test which is fairly easy to pass

Whats a good price for a mint set? Seen alot of other coilovers go for about 300 quid but never seen any of the BC's go. As always any advice is greatly appreciated!

Theres one bolt holding it on. Think its the timing belt cover bolt. Undo that then just wiggle it and give it abit of manly persuasion

Ahh now i know whos it was haha. i saw it and i though it looked familiar but i couldnt think if ide seen it on here . There was another white glanza that was really smart. It had some white rota gt3 wheels and loads of stickers lol, was it anyones on here? Im sure it was parked near you?

Saw quite afew glanzas and gt's. Only one i recognized was liam D's glanza which was immensely clean . There was a couple of gt's running up the strip aswell all running in the 14 region. Was a really good day i thought, loads of nice cars there and some insane drag cars. Hope everybody else had a good day/weekend there

I had the same problem but i had a decent manifold to cope. Just left it hanging and its been fine, been on the car now for about 3 months and its had some hard driving haha.

So then! It all kicks off at 6 in the morning, wahoooo . Whos getting up early to watch it live and whos being a lazy tw*t like me and watching at 1 in the afternoon:P
