No if its full size you wont need brackets but I wouldnt bother with a full size 1 they are too big and offer no pro's other than looking nice. At least if you get a half size 1 it uses up less space.

Just buy 3mm its better being a little too small and having to stretch than too big and it wont seal. Tends to be pretty stretchy rubber stuff anyway.

I know the converters are the same ratio from kph to mph I just mention it because it is something else which allows for play and loss of accuracy. -

Sound I know mines is cast the same as the C52. Ill do the 3rd gear test on the way home. But like Trsik says between speedo converters, wheel sizes and old parts I dont know how accurate it will be. -

Same looks like it may have been changed at 98 rather than between ep82 and ep91?? -
Stainless manis arent really any good to be honest youd be far better with a mild steel 1 the SS will just crack plus they only stay shiny for a little while then turn yellow lol. ARC and RX7 topmounts are normally good enough for most CT9 set ups but yeah they do cover your rocker. A nice ARC looks good though. Just upto what you wanna spend and personal preferance.

Same mate not sure if its something remote to an area in England or not but I've started replying with "brought from where" which is normally answered completely oblivious to the irony lol.

Get some molies on the mani bolts. Failing that get your old man to take it to work and get them to use some heat and crack the nuts the tighten them back up for you to take off easier. Your gna need the mani off to replace the turbo anyway and would be aswell replacing the mani or de restricting it while you have it off. That said its looking good your doing the right stuff. You may be better with an ARC top mount or an RX7 one save you cutting that precious bumper lol.

Is a race spec rocker needed to run a catch can

Hmm I dont understand why it would bend. Go on Autosiliconhoses and order a 12mm one and it will fit perfect. there only £5 or sumthing either that or ebay. -

Nope! Like I said filter shouldnt chirp if its fitted right. -
To be fair mate if he gets a decent set of wheels and coilies then swaps the indicators for some clear 1s and give it a good compound and wax it will come up decent.

To be fair the neatest and simplest way is to have no catch can. Leave the PCV to work as it was intended maybe use some coloured hose to make it look nice. And put a breather filter on the rocker. Like So http://s1253.photobucket.com/user/studoc/media/20130606_174700-1-1_zpsf35340fb.jpg.html'> -
Lol 2 at the wings. 2 main bolts that go staight in the front next to the foglights. Then 3 or 4 underneath that go into the subframe.
-
With it being a 14" and having quite a large sidewall on the tyre it would be ok if welded to a good standard. Alot easier and cheaper than sourcing another wheel.
