Type of exhaust. It means Stainless steel so its more than likely an aftermarket exhaust of some description. This website is brilliant with alot of knowledgable and friendly people to help out. John

How to Properly fit a catch can? and is it worth it?
Johnboy GT replied to The Toffinator's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
There was a massive debate about setups not long ago on here bud! Worth having a look at, although it may scare you -
Talk about going off topic Nazz mate, Fuck engine talk and get that caliper sorted! If you remove the rubber seal around the piston and pump the brake (when the caliper is off) slowly so that the piston begins to show itself. You will be able to have a look and see the piston body. This should be a clean and shiny surface, if there is a ring of rust or its pitted or dirty then thats more than likely why its not working. Polish it up with some sand paper so its nice and smooth again and then try it on again. Be carefull with the rubber seal as they tend to go all soft and tear easily. I did th

Knocking could be a CV joint aswell mate. Normally there is a hole in the hub to put a bolt to hold your disc in place. My van ones arent in and its fine, makes a squeek sometimes. Nothing trivial

Mate thats not just these cars.. Thats every car. Cant expect to use a car on a daily basis and expect everything to last forever. Some time is needed to work through all these problems and make sure everything is working in harmony before you use it again. Taking it off the road and spending time and money on necessitys is your best plan of action. Mine has been off the road 2 years next month and im in no hurry to have it back on the road till im happy everything is replaced and works together well. My 2p

Thats what i was thinking. Welcome mate! -
If you do the marking out or work out the dimensions im sure if you took it to a local welder/Fabricator theyd do it for you and it wouldnt be dear dude They fitted into Brads car so there should be no reason they shouldnt fit in yours i wouldnt have thought. Unless you can find people with mk1/mk2 and mk3 Gt's and ask for them to measure between hole centres for the seat mounts and see if there is a difference?
-
They should be GT feet on them already if Brad fitted it to his. Just cut them off, move them in whatever direction appropriate and re weld them on. Easy as that . Ive done it to mine, cut the gt feet of the original seats cut the scooby feet off them and then what i did with mine was have 2 bars per seat the lenght of the rail cut and welded the feet to the bar and the bar to the rail.

I have the same clutch mate, hopefully fitting it tonight or this weekend. Will let you know.

Got a new FSE fpr with fuel rail adapter and a gauge for sale bud? PM me if your interested? -
From what ive been told you do experience slightly more lag but its better breathing for the car. I took my bumper, headlights and grill off, ran the pipes in and then fitted the intercooler inbetween them. Put my bolts in my mounting points on my core, then used tywraps between my bolts and bumper backing to establish a good height and positioning. Then made measurements and made brackets to suit (Didnt like how flimsy the supplied ones were).
