I will obviously lol! A lot of people saying they are and then not and then are again so I think it's a bit of a "just turn up and see if anyone comes" lol! I'll be there with my camera anyway to get a few shots. If we can get a few there, I'm up for a game of bowling .

Okay we really really need a location lol! How about we just say the park where the showcase cinema, frankie and bennys, nandos etc is on the A52? NG7 2UW... Shit loads of parking, If anyone is hungry we can eat, bowling is there too.... Also open to what we do after meeting, taking a few photos etc?... I'll hopefully have finished fabricating some new gear for my camera so could be making a video to test it out and try make any improvements etc.... Meet probably isn't going to be that big considering there's nothing we can do cheaply with this kind of weather....

TrisK's TOMS MK1 GT - Wheel-y big update
aaddzz123 replied to TrisK's topic in EP80/EP82 Progress Blogs
You legend haha! Didn't know this was why you were going to Poole... Also, sent your stickers out today. Sorry for being late . Wrote you a little note too lol. -
Ha! I'm quite gutted that I never saw the mk1 you had. I remember Robbie telling me and Tom that you'd got a mk1 and painted it on your drive LOL. Isn't Grez on about buying it now for his track days? Nice to see you post again .

I love the look of Micky Boy's photo but the quality lets it down massively. Really like Broony's too but the blur line and the indicator on the 2nd GT in put me off . Seba and Redz11 get my vote. Simple but nice. And Pick1, because I took it LOL. Awesome photos guys

I still have more to do but it's bed time I'll edit the post as I go but for now...

screamer pipe out the side of the bumper
aaddzz123 replied to Got.boost's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
One thing I must say is it WILL melt your paint/bumper if you have a flamey set up . So coming out of the wing on a white car for example may be a bit of a pain lol. I have a nice melted crispy patch behind my exhaust now. Partly the reason I'm thinking more about having the screamer put there lol. -
screamer pipe out the side of the bumper
aaddzz123 replied to Got.boost's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
I was going to have this done when I had my front exit exhaust done. I was going to have the screamer come out just behind it... I may still have it done in the next few months . -
Currently working hard on BrokenMedia as a freelance video producer. But over the past 5 years I've been a landscape gardener, a bed salesman, a landrover specialist mechanic, an internet sales manager, a shop assistant, a part time delivery driver, a sandwich maker and built/dismantled marquees LOL... Hopefully I'll be settled on a tasty income with video production after a few years whether it leads to a constant flow of work and employing people or being employed for a bigger company (one could dream of the BBC )... No doubt I'll have a few more different jobs before that happens lol.

It depends entirely on my situation/position etc as to which method I go for. For example the Mazda bumper, my friend (who owned the car) had already brought the primer and colour in rattle cans. So I used his primer and colour and finished it with 2k clear through my gun.... My bumper that I did a few months back, I used the gun for everything because I live back with my parents, everything was out and ready and it was cheaper and easier lol. I do normally use the gun for everything.... But in some cases a can is easier. Lottie is a member on here and earlier in the year she reversed over a k

I agree with both of the above but I think the point where we differ is I'm simply saying the paint in a rattle can is no different. If you use rattle cans for paint and then a 2k clear from a gun the finish isn't going to be any different at all... And if you consider you can get 2k in cans now too, there isn't really anything you can do with a gun that you can't do with cans lol. Sure a gun is going to have a better fan, its going to be more cost effective and quicker to do... But my point is simply that you can get a mint finish that will last with rattle cans lol. Just use a 2k clear coat.

I'm not really a wee boy lol. Little offended by the comment to be honest. And I don't understand what my age has to do with anything? Anyway, not to spam Matt's thread anymore, I've commented on an old thread I started last year when I had just finished a bumper job... With rattle cans I might add ;). Happy to continue a light heated debate on there lol!
-
Just bringing this back to life after a discussion on MattyD's wheel thread about paint jobs and their costs lol. People saying that you can't get a decent finish with rattle cans... Well all of MY above jobs were done with rattle cans lol... I have had the gun and compressor set up for years but I did these with cans because with my position it was easier... I don't see any difference in the finish products if you do it properly? I'll upload some more pictures of jobs I've done with cans if I can find any.

Air freshners lol! My family aren't down with my car antics. Boring cunts . Lots of nice clothes though lol.

WOOP ! Awesome seats. -
Cool man. I'm not hating or saying they're rubbish because I'm sure they're shit hot lol. Just saying its expensive for a set of rims refurbed lol. And I'm pretty sure Socks V was done for about £800. Thats a mint finish... Not so much where you go but who you know...
-
I do however agree 100% on it being a shit job to refurb rims. If you don't have a sand blaster, I'd say its worth getting one even if you're just doing one set of rims lol! Especially multispokes or awkwardly shaped rims.
