    I've just spent the day installing the Apexi AVC-R and playing with the settings and to be honest it would have been a lot easier with the following information. So just to make it easier for anyone installing one in the future I'm going to do a write up and put all the links I used here to get it installed, running and working etc !     Mine never used to work. Turned out that a component in the control box had popped... If you look up behind the panel under the steering wheel (in the dash) you'll see a little black box with a big orange connector... That's the control box for the central locking... If you're having problems I'd start there .

    Pretty sure every GT has central locking standard. Might just be mk2s and mk3s. Central locking with the key anyway, not remote...

    I've not seen a rusty GT to be honest. No rust at all on mine. Never skips a beat and I give mine death everyday. I blew up the first engine because I was revving it past 8,000rpm in every gear without a proper map lol. But other than that, no issues. Had it 2 n half years now. Handling, to be honest its the best handling car I've drove lol. With a set of coilovers, antiroll bars, a cage and some decent tyres I've left all sorts in the bends and scared a few friends lol!     I think you should do it lambo orange with purple flek.... I don't know why I even said that. Feel a little bit sick with myself lol... No I love GTs in bronzey gold to be honest! Top Secret is an awesome colour... The next cheap car I get I will defiantly be giving it a full spray and I think I'm going to go for a matte bronze... Depending on the car lol. But I think if I was going to respray my GT I'd probably do it 205 black again and just keep it looking minty fresh and original.

    Never had any problems like this before and I've cleaned my windows with all sorts including using tatty dirty cloths lol... But if you're getting a current then partial way across then... Not entirely sure how they work but it would seem the "connection" is worn down... Would have thought it would either work fully or not work at all though.
