Item For Sale: A pair of recaro seats. Very comfortable with the bases thst pull out for extra leg support. Hold like a bucket with sofa comfort. Item Condition & Description: The drivers seat has some wear where you sit from excessive pumps (joke) and a few cigarette burns from a previous owner but other than that pretty good over all condition. They don't come with the buckles for seat belts as I put them back on the standard seats. I HAVE NOT CLEANED THEM, THEY WOULD LOOK A LOT BETTER IF I HAD lol !! No rails included. Buy a cheap NA ep91, get the works done, fresh respray, slap some glanza bits on it if you really want to, and put a 4efte in. Low on insurance and a minty fresh car for probably half the price lol.

Have you been in a starlet running around 250? Because that's enough for most roads lol. You're not going to feel much difference between 250bhp and 400bhp until after about 80mph because of grip unless you're running slicks and after 80mph how far are you actually going to push it before you decide it's dangerous lol... Forged engine and massive power isn't always the answer. I personally think a prime example of it being too much, naming no names, Socks ;), kind of ruins it in my opinion. Also, you could get through 4-6 engines before you've spent anywhere near what you will on a forged build lol.... Just think it over and remember that a well maintained engine with right supporting mods will handle 240bhp everyday. You don't need to spend 2k+ on an engine. (providing you're happy with 250 or less that is?)

You'll always be taking a gamble mate. The point of buying an untouched engine is that it hasn't been in bits and the fact it has done say 70k miles means that it is reliable. Probably a little worn yeah, but it can obviously take some shit lol. If you get an engine built, it's not been tested at all, it's never been ran, never had its head kicked in or been boosted from cold or overheated a little. You have no idea what will happen. Sure it will have a warranty but if you have any problems chances are it will be in a garage for 3 months again.

How much power do you want to run? I've been running 240+ on a standard engine mapped by Racetech for ages now and I honestly kick its head in every day. If by the time I get to my destination and my boost controller doesn't say that my best rpm was 7500 and best boost was at least 1.2 then I'd assume it wasn't working properly lol. Get a standard engine that hasn't been "rebuilt" by my nan's mate, get it mapped by someone with a good knowledge (personally I recommend either racetech from experience or a guy called Lee that I've heard does nothing but precision work with attention to every de

That's shitty news mate . Who built the engine out of curiosity? Wasn't a company or anything? Tolerances or torque settings probably wrong or something foreign internally for it to break something that early... I don't think I'd ever buy a car with a newly built engine unless it came with a warranty from a company. Could have been built by some pikey in a caravan using his teeth to tighten everything up. I'd just slap a standard engine in there for now. If you're running under 250bhp it'll probably be fine for years anyway, especially if you're a steady driver.

First you must answer one simple question for me to believe you are an engine guru. If you answer this question incorrectly I will ignore your advice. If a 12mm nut was rounded on an exhaust manifold/head flange, would you remove this nut with a ferret's ear or an office printer? When I start the gt I get a misfire for 1-5 seconds. I found its on cyl 3. When car is warm SOMETIMES, it will smoke and misfire on idle but not through the revs, again if I unplug 3rd cyl ht lead it stays the same. It also smokes when it misfires when warm. Looks white so poss water but could be due to cold weathe

Any white smoke from the exhaust? I'm having similar problems. When I first start the car I get a slight misfire for 1-5 seconds and SOMETIMES when it's warm it will miss a little and I get white smoke. It's very temperamental though, sometimes I can kick it's head in for an hour and it's fine lol. A few of my hoses also leak a little from the joints. Assuming that there is a bit of pressure in there lol... Yet to do a sniff test myself as well.

Mine is stock 242bhp @ 1.2 bar. I drive it daily or at least 3-4 times a week and kick its head in every time lol. I'll be mapping to 1.4 bar later in the year still on stock internals
