  1. Socks is running a set on his Glanza. To be honest they cope fine with his 370bhp when I drove it lol . That said, I was only driving on the road for short distances but still giving them a good boot... Done a few high speed stops and its never had issues as far as I'm aware... (wilwoods that is)
  2. That is all
  3. Looks like a lot of work went into the dash and doorcards... Shame because it's horrible imo lol! Suppose if they were flocked as they are, would look sexual.... Keep us updated mate!
  4. Just generally full of win ... Did you buy the braided hoses or make them? It's on my list and I'm just considering making some as a friend has a box full of assorted lines lol (providing I can get 4 the same that fit nicely obviously)... And no worries on the arb. I got my car on the ramp the other day and noticed I still have the L brackets on mine lol!
  5. Could be interested in just 1 piston if you're willing to split
  6. lol. I've asked pretty much all of the suppliers on here for advice about something or other in the past and not one of them have been bias or or slated anyone else. I've always just had good honest advice... As for which kit, I run a WEPR but if I was still ct9 I wouldn't hesitate to try any other brand. They all have top customer service and they're all very friendly to work with. Guess if I was buying a NEW kit I'd just talk to them and see what was best for me.
  7. Haha!! Should have tried it dude! No harm if it's already fucked and to be honest a lot of people don't have a clue and just assume "oh must be fucked!" if it stops and doesn't start straight away .... If you're unsure, get it checked by a professional. If it's fine, it's already in bits and if it only cost you £200 I'd just stick with that and forge it... After you've rebuilt it with new gaskets you're probably not going to make much on it... Be a different story if it were still whole and running sweet .
  8. Power fading out and not starting again sounds as simple as an alternator lol..... Did you not try topping the oil up and starting it before stripping it down? If the engine has blown due to no oil, chances are it's spun a bearing as said above and locked the engine... But if it turns over fine I'd take the caps off the rods and double check the bearings, double check the bores, tap the pistons on a hard surface to see if any chunks fall out or the rings break etc. If all is fine, face palm yourself, put it back together with a new gasket/seal kit and try it lol! Might be fine .
  9. Who built the engine matey?
  10. I used to be a landscape gardener last year and it was a piss easy job, sat on ride on lawn mowers and dug holes in the sun with ice cold drinks lol. Paid just over £7ph and the freedom was endless to be honest... I'm now Assistant Manager at National Tyres on a 16k salary plus a bonus every month that varies from £200 to £600, holiday perks, sick days paid and any travel costs etc lol. It's busy work but really nice to run the branch, make the sales, work on cars and have the bonus to work for etc. Plus it's quite easy to work your way up after Assistant Manager and the pay rises are nice ;). Plus opens up chances for other managerial jobs or mechanic jobs in the future... It's a good laugh and the company really look after you providing you pull your weight and meet targets. But before that, Gardener, Salesman, Mechanic, Internet sales manager, Delivery driver and Shop Assistant lol. Oh and building marquees! Plus, BrokenMedia and side jobs at the weekend . Money is there if you have the motivation to work for it. Don't agree with benefits at all to be honest lol.
  11. What this guy said!!! It's only as hard as you tell yourself it's going to be lol. If you keep telling yourself "It's an addiction, it's not easy" then you're never going to quit because to be frank you're just making excuses ... If you really WANT to quit, then quit. Nothing else to it lol. No one is going to help you, no one has a magic solution... It's hard for a month and you'll never look back. Get a ps3 or a new game if you already have one. Just go to work, avoid the fag break, go home, play games, go bed, repeat lol !
  12. I smoked for about 4 year... I decided to make a new start last year and quit smoking, started BrokenMedia and got a decent job lol... I think if you want to quit smoking you have to be motivated. I didn't like the person I used to be and changed my lifestyle and attitude completely to be honest. My best advice would be to just do it off your own back, I didn't believe in using drugs or patches etc to "help" me stop smoking because I truly wanted to quit and replacing the habit with another substitute seems like the thing I would do if I didn't want to quit but had no choice... Don't look for praise, don't even praise yourself lol... You got yourself into the situation and it's down to you to get out of it. The first month is tricky but just keep yourself occupied. You have to believe you will do it and not question it. Avoid the times when you would most likely smoke, for example I used to smoke mainly when driving, so I stopped driving and started biking and jogging. I wanted to be fitter, healthier, have more money, less of an attitude, not feel shitty all the time, less stress and at the same time like I said, started making videos and got myself a good job.... Been smoke free over a year now and it's been really really easy! So much easier than I expected and I'm so so glad that I did it. Completely changes you as a person not just your wallet ;).
