also, the driver's door motor was burnt out and I have now replaced that but still no difference with power to the windows or central locking (basically no power to the control panel). Also, nothing happens when I apply power to any of the cables on the panel when it is all connected..... Does anyone know where the earths are inside the car? I found one in the driver's footwell but that one is nice and tight...

anyone got any ideas with this? Still have to open my windows with a power probe lol!!

Checked there mate and no damage. Anyone else got any advice? Is there any way of checking a relay? Also can you just buy relays in B&Q or somewhere alike, or would I need to get one off another starlet or from toyota?

Done all that mate lol. Nothing from the motors. Going to change the relays and see if anything changes.... And my sig is done in PS you cheeky bitch lol! cba to download brushes n do this and do that. I'd rather try and do most of it when I'm taking the actual photo.... Has a better feel to it in my opinion!

HI GUYYYYYYYYYYYYYYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Since I bought MURX the windows and central locking hasn't worked on either side, I've checked wiring and used a power probe to try and figure it out but I'm not that great with electrical fault finding lol... None of the fuses are burnt out, all are fine. I wondered if it could be a relay? If so which one would the locks and windows be connected to??? I also understand the motors may be dead, I haven't tried putting power directly to them yet, but I figured it to be something else as it's a bit of a coincidence if the locks don't work as well, seeing as it all goes to the driver's door panel?.... Any help would be veregh niaiiiiiice Much love

Just fitted a new engine in Murx and there is a strange whining noise coming from the belt area. I'm pretty sure the altanator and PAS belts are correctly tensionened and it sounds like its coming more from the cam belt area... It's a new belt with new tensioner and bearing... If the belt is too tight will it whine? Could it be anything else? The altanator and PAS pump came off my old engine and are fine. Maybe it's just normal for a new belt and bearing etc to whine a bit?
