Right so my tb nipple already has a vac pipe on it so do i use a T piece? Ive heard some people use a T piece from the compressor housing on the turbo. One pipe goes to common on solenoid and the other to bottom of wastegate? Cheers

And new laws state if a car is taxed it has to be insured otherwise declared sorn. So even if your insurance covered you to drive an uninsured cehicle it couldnt posdibly be taxed
Id say find somewhere where you can get a multimeter probe on the conductor of the shield and put the other probe to earth, like a bolt or something. Should see minimal resistance. Or make a tiny tiny knick in the cable insulation of the shield so you can get a probe on thr conductor
Is the screening earthed? If its not then its doing nothing as it basically takes unwanted external signals and puts them to earth. You also checked continuity from knock sensor plug to the pin on the ecu?
Cat C can be quite decieving some times as ive seen loads of cars that are cat D with much worse damage. My first car was cat C and all it needed was a sump, subframe and front splitter as the person had run over a post. Where as my bro got a bmw cat D and the whole front end had gone and both chassis legs were bent badly
I have a td04 which has recently been rebuilt. No receipts for rebuild as i bought the core already rebuilt. Was going to fit the core to my tf035 but doesnt fit so i put it in another td04. it has bugger all shaft play as you would expect. Already rorated and welded wastegate penny. £100 im after if youre interested
My guess is a wiring fault somewhere. Even when i had emanage blue fitted the tuner literally couldnt get the fueling low enough. Then he discovered the wire abd hey presto. He said he didnt check which wire it was just soldered back up when he realused it was broken
