  1. Welcome to UKSO! Sorry to hear about your friend, I wish you all the best with this project!
  2. Hmm this is a strange one, it was an M12 bought for the sole purpose of head bolts. They where Toyota OEM ones.
  3. I used an M12 spline tool?
  4. Been busy tonight, dropped the sump of and the pistons out. Turns out Smiths Engineering never replaced the big ends, mains and thrust. So more fecking work and expense! Best I found out sooner rather than later. Massive thanks to Idrees, ordered stuff yesterday afternoon and arrived today. Top service!
  5. MOIST. That is all
  6. I did the same haha, spent about an hour trying to work it out and gave up!
  7. I just submitted an offer on the 5e ones, I'll let you know what they are like if they accept my offer.
  8. Only one person has left feedback too!
  9. I'll have a look for them when I'm picking up new fluids, could come in handy for running her in.
  10. I know, can't wait to actually drive with them on!

    Pcb valve

PCV valve, and yes it is a crank case breather that runs to the intake mani.
  12. Yeah, I order two standard oil filters from ID-Workz today, where did you order the oversized one from?
  13. Cheers dude!
  14. I've got a Tomei RRFPR which is currently set at 2.8 Bar, I really need to get the fuelling set temporarily with a wideband, just until she gets mapped. There is a OBX mani and Japspeed S/S system already on, cams are a possibility, but I want to concentrate on the exterior once the mapping has been done. I'm not really sure what else can be done after the cams, I covered most of it I think.
  15. A 5e-fe ECU just, going to book a dyno session within the next month. Will most likey run a Unichip.
  16. This should do the trick, I've used BGA gaskets before, they are good stuff. Click
  17. Thanks fellas!
  18. Is there any benefits with an over sized one mate? Was planning on running a Greddy on as TRD ones are about £30 now!
  19. Yeah, it has been done, I think Tuning Developments did one.
  20. Round 2 has begun! Well Vettle qualified first, so didn't see much point in watching the F1. I though there is no point in fannying about get her back on the road ASAP. So operation stip down began! Up early the morning and began stripping her down, massive ballache due to the fact she was only part back together a couple of months ago. Anyway photos! http://s1054.photobucket.com/user/cgreen1993/media/WP_20130707_001_zps384a3601.jpg.html'> http://s1054.photobucket.com/user/cgreen1993/media/WP_20130707_001_zps384a3601.jpg.html'> http://s1054.photobucket.com/user/cgreen1993/media/WP_20130707_002_zps3536232f.jpg.html'> http://s1054.photobucket.com/user/cgreen1993/media/WP_20130707_003_zpscd6c30d7.jpg.html'> http://s1054.photobucket.com/user/cgreen1993/media/WP_20130707_004_zps7355febf.jpg.html'> http://s1054.photobucket.com/user/cgreen1993/media/WP_20130707_005_zpsd99138c7.jpg.html'> http://s1054.photobucket.com/user/cgreen1993/media/WP_20130707_006_zps6c9dc3cd.jpg.html'> http://s1054.photobucket.com/user/cgreen1993/media/WP_20130707_007_zps88f763cb.jpg.html'> http://s1054.photobucket.com/user/cgreen1993/media/WP_20130707_008_zps60b8588c.jpg.html'> http://s1054.photobucket.com/user/cgreen1993/media/WP_20130707_009_zps8801d13b.jpg.html'> http://s1054.photobucket.com/user/cgreen1993/media/WP_20130707_010_zps3d1ca37a.jpg.html'> http://s1054.photobucket.com/user/cgreen1993/media/WP_20130707_012_zpsd9dc33a5.jpg.html'> http://s1054.photobucket.com/user/cgreen1993/media/WP_20130707_013_zpsa954ac72.jpg.html'> http://s1054.photobucket.com/user/cgreen1993/media/WP_20130707_014_zps629b94ad.jpg.html'> http://s1054.photobucket.com/user/cgreen1993/media/WP_20130707_015_zpsd97fe142.jpg.html'> http://s1054.photobucket.com/user/cgreen1993/media/WP_20130707_016_zps9f67d200.jpg.html'> http://s1054.photobucket.com/user/cgreen1993/media/WP_20130707_017_zpsd0399040.jpg.html'> Tomorrow night I'll drop the pistons & rods out and re-hone the bored, shiny new parts ordered tonight. I have a few things away to be powder coated too. By the end of the week I should have a working car again
  21. Cheers guys!
  22. I can't wait either! The next week is going to be horrible though! So, plan of action, order head bolts & rings, get the engine out, re-bored and back in a week!
  23. I was uber surprised, that was with the TPS's as well, just plugged in. Yeah, I've got the love back after today, it's given me the motivation to get her sorted.
  24. Cheers dude Well, this is where it goes down hill. I can't drive it yet as I have no fees for the brake servo, I mounted the feed too closed to the fuel rail, so I have to blank it and make a new one. Didn't bother with the vacuum manifold, just took a feed from cylinders 3&4 and t-pieced them. I'm not going to take her for a drive now until the rings are done - due to the fact the smoke is not that bad! So, plan for this week, Mon, Tues & Wed - pull the engine back. Sat, Sun & Mon put the engine back in. Cheers Bryan!
