I was intending on purchasing a set of Rota HM3 - Advan reps, but not sure now. Do you think they would be ok or best looking for a set of Advans that need a bit of attention?

You can't use the 4e-fe TB, you will have an air leak. When you switch to the FTE TB there is issues with the TPS, it will flag up on the error codes and possible mis-fire. I should have a poweder coated FTE manifold which has been welded to prevent the air leak, so the FE throttle can be used for sale pretty soon.

They look mint! I wouldn't be selling them if I were you!

Try probolt for the nuts & bolts, that's where I got my blue rocker cover dome nuts, I think they were 5 quid for 6 of them. Not sure what sizes the go up to though.

Are Rota's really that bad? I love my Slips, never really heard bad things about them, seen a few memes on line and that's about it.

Give it another 5 years and there will only be around 200 left, people don't realise what they have! The figues may even be less and Glanza's get registered as SR's, Sportif's, CD's etc.

I had spring compressors it on pal, I tried putting it back in and having a go as well bu still no luck. Do you reckon a Snap-On electric torque wench would do?

Went to fit my new top mount tonight had the shock & spring out of the car, went to undo the nut which hold the top mount on, but the fecker is seized solid. Soaked it in WD40, but still no luck. Only process for tonight is some bust knuckles. Total ballache for something that should be a 30min job.

I still need to make up a vacuum port, so I didn't bother starting today, plus the F1 was on Check the oil level and its 3/4 of the way up the dip stick. Cheers Morgey, though you might like them. If boredom takes over tomorrow, I might have a go at fitting them. I drove the car about 20 miles today and there was alot less smoke and the clutch wasn't slipping.
