Rota Slips use the medium top cap
  4. Nice one dude, that is a great improvment over your previous time posted! Aweseome work
  5. Been following a few guys on AU Starlet Club who have opted for ITB's rather than ACIS, seems like there is more gains to be had from ITB's. Plus ACIS manifolds are going for silly money over here. Thanks Grant, I have a link to a guide over on TGTT, which is really detailed hopefully I will get the stubbs welded on this week and get stuck into messing about with the TPS at the weekend.
  6. It wouldn't be scrap mate, you just need to rehone the bores. Would need to replace: headgasket, Head bolts and piston rings though.
  7. Sounds like bore wash, you would lose compression, it has the same sort of effect as the piston rings going.

  9. Cheers pal, Should have more updates with the ITB's this week, watch this space!
  10. I can't comment on the iphone as I have never has one, always had Nokia. I have the Lumia 800 before and recently upgraded to Lumia 920 and I love them, they are great phone and the screens are epic, take so much abuse. Good battery life also, only thing is the lack of apps, but you have all the usual ones.
  11. Looking forward to progress on this pal. Looks like you have picked up a tidy motor!
  12. Well that is certainly bright! Best of luck for tomorrow mate, hope all goes well!
  13. I suppose its all in the fun of owning a Starlet! Got is sorted-ish. Well the diagnostics trigged 3 fault codes, which were nothing to do with the problem. Truns out the ICV is to blame, unplugged it ang hey presto revs droped right now. Its now in an ultra sonic cleaner to see if it helps. Its running fine without it, but the EML is on :/
  14. Unfortunately, no where for me this year, saving to go away next year, want to got to Cuba, Japan, Dubai or Hong Kong haven't decided yet.
  15. If you take the ICV off, and just plug it in there is no error codes, it only pulls up the error codes when on the TB. Another note, if you turn the nipple that the ICV goes on to you can adjust the idle.
  16. Now sorted, turns out it was the idle control valve.
  17. Well after a quick diagnostics, got theses codes. 24 = air temperature sensor 25 = running lean 41 = TPS What would cause these all to go at once? Its definitely not running lean, black smoke.
  18. Where is it? lol I've know on a 4e-fte its on the intake manifold, but whereabouts in the N/A? Cheers in advance!
