Not long to go then!
-
I have both consoles at the minute and I think the ps3 is leaps and bounds ahead of the Xbox. On the plus side with the ps4 I will still be able to use my logitech wheel
-
Did Dean do you full system? Seen some of his work recently on FB and it looks EPIC
-
I think I'll stick to the PS

Car is looking fresh Liam!

It would be excellent if it was, but I'm not holding out much hope. As the saying goes, if it looks too good to be true it probably is.

The throttle bodies I ordered arrived today, they are off a 2001 Triumph TT600, I picked them up off eBay for £60.00 inc delivery. First thing I noticed, was the TPS look identical to the on which is already on the standard TB. Later tonight, I'm going to take it off and have a quick look. I may have struck a total win, if the are identical, I will simply swap them over, which should save a lot of hassle. If they are the same, I will try plugging the TPS in to the loom tonight and see if I get an error message. I am going to have to make up a bracket to hold the throttle cable, which shouldn't be too difficult as I have a friend with a welder. Vacuum chamber wise, I am going to use a Blox Racing 6-port vacuum manifold, which can be picked up for around $40.00. PCV I will do away with this and have a race spec rocker cover made up. Anyway here is the flange: http://s1054.photobucket.com/user/cgreen1993/media/WP_20130520_001_zps0636d567.jpg.html'> And here is the ITB's http://s1054.photobucket.com/user/cgreen1993/media/WP_20130521_001_zps4694eb34.jpg.html'> http://s1054.photobucket.com/user/cgreen1993/media/WP_20130521_002_zps43e48c8e.jpg.html'> Let me know what you guys think!

Maximum power for a N/A e series engine.

The 5e-fhe is around 110bhp, so its a decent base to start on, surely i cant be that hard to gain 30-40bhp. ITB's arrived today so I will crack on with them. Funny you should say that Addy I thinking of going six speed. I've hear there isn't much of a difference between the two boxes. -
Quite like the rad cap covers in blue, might have to order one, come payday.

After the success of the last meet, the guys over on TGTT are organizing a track day at Kirkistown. I'm going to head down for the day, but won't be on track. Here is the tread if anyone else is interest. Click

I've got the 5e-fhe, so the compression ration is higher as standard. Altering the rev limit is something that will be looked into whilst I have it on the dyno, so hopefully there is some nice gains to be had to end. The fte intake cam standard on the 1st gen 5e-fhe, before ACIS came about. There is a tasty power band around 4K! Will be looking into some serious headwork while the new rings are going in. My neighbor builds and tunes race bikes and will be looking to see what else can be squeezed out of the 5e lump. -
Cracked on tonight with making the ITB's. I got myself a cheap n/a intake Mani (courtesy of Jay on TGTT) to use. I cut the runners away from the base, so i basically have a nice flange. (that doesn't sound quite right, but any way) Tomorrow, I shall be welding on some stubs to the flange and tidying it up a bit.

Must be some I've missed then. I should (fingers crossed) have something by the end of the week. Cutting the manifold tonight and welling on stubbs, Triumph TT600 ITB's should be here Wednesday latest, got 45 degree silicone joiners ordered. Will take plenty photos as I'm doing it. -

Will do, thanks. I remember a someone had a Paseo with ITB's back on UKSC, from memory, it was his display picture and had individual filters. -

Is there any info on the one in Europe? I've been trolling forums all over the show now, there isn't really much info. When I get mine done, I'll do a write up and how-to guide. I really want to find info on the mystery JAM Sera to see what power they managed. -

New exhaust looks mint, especially like the angle it sits! -

It has been considered, wanted to do something different with the ITB's. There is only 5 (I know of anyway) E-Series' running ITB's possibly four. 2 in the States 1 in Canada 1 in the UK The JAM Sera, not sure if this is still around though.
