I do believe you can remove the mileage unit from the cluster and just spin the numbers round. I'm sure I see a guide or something like that before but can't for the life of me remember where I see it.

It varies on ambient air temp, boost pressure and compressor efficiency so your best bet is to measure it yourself.

240 duration and 8.5mm lift will be ideal, turbo motors are the most fussy when moving away from the stock cams, and the better the engine breathes the less wild you need to go on the cams. Thats the rough spec cams I'll be going for on a turbo capable of 500bhp. -
I wouldn't even bother considering changing the blend of fuel if used daily tbh, its too much hassle. Methanol is also illegal to use on the road over here as it gives off poisonous gas when burnt, I dare say its different anywhere else. You also have to start measuring fuels by weight rather than volume because the volume of fuel changes with temperature, hence if you go fill up early in the morning you will actually get more fuel in your tank than if you filled up at 1pm. I would stick with regular pump fuel, if you do wish to try something, check out water or meth injection kits but the

5.4kg isn't that light when comparing to SSR type c's which are 3.8kg in 15x7 I think they are. 6.4kg the difference with all 4 wheels, it soon adds up. Although for the price slips are a good option.

Haha people think their good because of the name and the fact their like £200 more expensive must make them better. Ah really? Tbh the casing is very similar on all 3 units in fairness. Suppose its whichever one you can get rebuild plates for and at the chepest price.

What supporting mods do i need? for 1.bar CT12
AdamB replied to PWG123's topic in 4E-FTE Engine Discussions
How can you lean it out at the top end with just using a FPR? If you increase the base pressure it increases the fuel flow throughout the entire rev range, it doesn't adjust the injector opening periods at all. If you lower the base pressure you will likely run lean at the lower end of the rev range/when at maximum VE. -
Ay I don' like the quaifes tbh, don't like the way they act when one wheel is un-driven ie in the air lol. I was choosing either the kaaz or cusco but not many people seem to use the kaaz really. That's what I thought, why not just use some fuchs/motul stull from opie. Ah fair enough, have you had the diff from new or did it come with the car?

Power Gains for Port & Polish on n/a?
AdamB replied to Jamie5414's topic in N/A E-Series Engine Discussions
Said exactly what I was going to say. The ports for an N/A are way too large and actually need to be made smaller. Get hold of some JB weld if you wanna go this route and then just smooth it back with a die grinder. -
If you want the best mate try looking at something a little lighter like Rays TE37, CE28 or SSR's are very light. Theres a wheel weight guide in the wiki on here and theres also a much larger list floating around on the net with wheel weights.

7j no need for 8j unless your trying to look good.

Fuck 90 quid? How much you get in 1 tin? I take it you need 2 tins for a complete refill? Jeez that could get expensive lol.

I done a search on this and over here in the UK chains have stopped supplying it. I would personally take a leaf out of their book and not bother using it, you would be better off getting some race fuel like VP or Methanol as its less likely to go out of fashion. You would still need to upgrade your fueling system though especially with meth which runs AFR's as rich as like 4:1.

Looking good mate. Hows that kaaz lsd? Was tempted myself with one of those.

I'll drop you a pm to discuss price mate. Yes they are stronger, its what Spuddy was using in his 570bhp engine and allow a lot more lift, around 13mm I believe.

Bump these are still here.
