  1. Maybe Jay could shed some light on this, he's got one of their race spec versions, I'm sure he had to do some modifying but as to what I don't actually know. My understanding is that all inlets on the market require modding in someway or another so its kinda to be expected whether you research into the Zisco one or Race-Tech they both really come under fire with the same kinda fitment issues.
  2. When did it last have a service and what's the spec? If the fuel pressure has been increased and your still on a stock pump it will put it under more stress.
  3. Didn't you use 74.5mm pistons though?
  4. I agree I do like how the Glanza one continues further down the boot line, makes it look more complete and a full item. Livesports spoilers for the 82 are easy to get hold of and I've always wanted to be different, if I couldn't have got a HRF one then no doubt I would have gone for the livesports as it is very similar.
  5. Ay they are similar, I think the livesports one points further up whereas the HRF one is pretty flat.
  6. Will work fine but the 3 puck will be quite a nightmare to drive with lol.
  7. It's not a straight fit, believe it needs to be cut, with around 70-80mm off the length and welded back together.
  8. lol may be a while mate! Wish you luck
  9. Yeah mate, been after one for years and as soon as Dan put it up I jumped on it
  10. Managed to get my mitts on one of a very few of these Genuine HRF spoiler This originally came off of Dave B's demo car, and has plenty of history with where it came from as well I don't know how many of these are knocking around but I can't imagine there is more than 3 in the England/UK from the searching I've done, even then a couple of the others have been from very old members over on TGTT so have no idea if they still have starlets or what's even happened with the spoilers.
  11. Do a search, been covered a million times.
  12. By the time you add on shipping you'll be better off buying some miesters really.
  13. The wiring is pretty easy, can be fiddly though I always used an external board to make things easier to see and wire up, tends to get messy on the Arduino itself as soon as you have about 5 wires on the pins. The C langauge is very easy to pick up, I made up my own code for a few things before, I'll have to see if I've still got it laying around somewhere.
  14. Use your right foot and slip the clutch
  15. Quality driving mate! Good to see these little motors showing up the big boys.
  16. I've used these kits before and they are very good for the money. If you need a hand with anything drop me a pm and I'll have to rattle my brain lol.
  17. Is it a squeel, knock, metal to metal contact?
  18. Yeah I would try the stat mate, and while your at it, it wouldn't be a bad idea to flush the matrix either.
  19. The only reason I would stick to a 74mm bore would be if I was competing and I was trying to get into a certain engine size catergory, other than that rebore everytime.
  20. Am sure there are plenty of people that have, but its just not the way I would do it. Whats your reasoning as to wanting to stay to the stock size bore?
  21. Personally I would always advise against going the next size up in oversize, simply because its very hard to maintain the close tolerances on a used bore. especially after a hone you may find the bore is too sloppy.
  22. Thought they were alloy, my bad. I'll be doing it anyway, may seem excessive but would rather overkill than have piston rings floating round my oil and damaging seals etc.Besides you get magnets in the gearbox but don't see people complaining about that
