The injectors being maxed isn't the issue of low down on power though, providing the AFR is correct. Selecting injectors depends on what's being used now, although I would expect you to need some 550cc +, and then saying that you would be better off with a standalone ecu depending on how big you go. I think there is some restrictions somewhere in the line. I would find out what size exhaust system it is running currently. What size the intercooler core is, what the diameter of the intercooler pipes are.

If your boosting to 1.6 bar and only making 285bhp I think there's a problem somewhere, that turbo at that boost its probably around its maximum efficiency. Td04's make that sorta power at less boost. As Sock's said though, a 3inch full system will work well. What injectors is it running at the moment?

I might pop along if you do it on the 26th as that's a day off for me, gives me a chance to service the N/A as well.

Get some vids up pal, wanna see this thing shift
-
Don't make much difference mate. Like I said I seen VF35's make around like the 315 mark which has an exhaust housing 2 sizes smaller. Get graph up when you can pal, be interesting to see

I would run more in the front than in the back as you got more weight at the front pushing the tyre into the ground.
-
Personal opinion really, need to adjust it according to your driving style. I found that anymore than 28psi in the rear made it quite unsteady at the rear and felt too light for my liking.
-
Thought it would of made more than that tbh mate considering its supposed to be a 400bhp turbo. Probably would have been better off with a VF35, less lag and about 15bhp less. My opinion of course.

The S40 can't run sequential injection and sequential ignition either. Main downfall really. The best thing to do would be to choose your mapper and ecu, most mappers are able to provide custom wiring looms and ask for some experience of what they have done in the past, or current projects.

363bhp About time lad!

If you want the best get DEI.

The manual recommends 1 bar every 1000rpm. However that's a bit low for my liking, at cold idle I would like to see about 5 bar, warm idle will be around 1.5-2 bar.

Depends who you go to, if your okay with being able to crimp wires and read wiring diagrams you can do it yourself. Also depends if you want it to any standards etc. Some I've seen are anywhere between £150-£450.

It looks like a Moroso one I was looking at that's why I asked Good job though!

I can't see them issuing a fine within 6 days or so, I would just leave it for those days and take the cheaper quote.
-
Sure does mate, none of this boxed clutter everywhere!
-
Not really as its a return pipe, if it was a feed pipe where the pressure is higher you would, but obviously the less oil there is in the sump, the less pressure there's going to be as well. I would get the return pipe sorted asap though.
-
Did you check the oil level? Was It when you was boosting the light came on? Sometimes the switch's are temperamental, would be my first port of call providing there's sufficient oil in it lol.
-
That looks nice mate, where you get that from? Does it have a baffle plate inside?
-
Well before I went to work earlier I did a little more work, finally finished off the wiring loom, just needs to be tidied up. Also removed the heater motor and matrix unit from the car. The motor unit was removed first Then I removed the crash bar and dropped the steering column to make it easier to get the matrix out. And finally with everything out Next up is the pedals, that'll be staying out

Cheers Jake, its time consuming but well worth it, be suprised at what you can take out really. I know mate us Southern boys are never finished lol. Got a little update for this later
-
Thing is, I've lost 2x 4EFTE due to oil pressure problems, so if there is problems with the 5E, it isn't just that engine, its the E series in general. Some people shim the pressure relief valve in the sump, some don't, so its a bit hit and miss really.

Wrong section!

Ay mate he said a couple more mph I would have been into losing my license territory, glad the N/A couldn't go any faster lol.
-
Nah mate got a slap on the wrist lol, told him the truth that I got pissed off with some bellend of a woman driver who was giving way to the wrong side on roundabouts haha. Ay mate she was screaming well, although she weren't that fast but I was trying
