don't worry, it will go bang sooner or later as i keep telling people lol i'm a very unlucky person. the thread will appear at some point in the future, but hopefully i won't be as skint as i am now as i'd love to go 5efte, that would be epic haha -
well i've got you an air temp sensor sat in my bedroom, so that's one down lol.
-
yeah i wash the whole car with autoglym body shampoo and dry it, then to get rid of smears i go over it with mr muscle, takes 2 mins and it's cheap as chips and does the job

quick photo of the rolling road printout, had to pull it off the rollers because it was horrendously lean (as you can see from the graph) which was a shame, but sorted it now running 3 bar of fuel pressure and it seems happier than ever had some custom manifold to head gaskets made up as mine was blowing really really bad and it sounded like a tractor, was cheaper to have 2 of these made up than to get one oem one from toyota. old gasket vs new gasket; gave her a service as well while sam played with his new intercooler. fresh oil, oil filter. only just received the fuel filter so that's going on at weekend; -
stick me on the list zoe i'll be there, might be a bit warmer this time haha
-
i'm not a fan either, every corsa/saxo/fiesta/clio round this end has shit hanging off the back bumper, not a fan.
-
just realised his number is on the print out i'll get in touch with him at some point
-
i'll submit mine soon. i've since put a freshly stripped and rebuilt fpr back on it (turned out there was a lump of what looked like chalk blocking the return haha :S) and seems more than happy at 3 bar fuel pressure. want to get it back on rollers asap for a true power run! how much roughly you reckon ricky would charge if i wanted to go back and get the fpr checked and put her back on the rollers matt?
-
if i'm not working then i'll definitely be there
-
where are you planning on buying them from out of interest? i'm after a purple *set

Thanks guys got a few bits on the way/ waiting to go on. And got her boosting at 0.8 again, seems to be pulling well but there is a slight flat spot before it comes on boost. Going on rollers next Saturday so we will see what the graph looks like and go from there -
I know I already have something on the way but damn you for being so far away, keep looking at the list and wanting more and more stuff!

mine are literally exactly the same mate, drivers rear. every little bump in the road and it chuffs it's tits off drove it to norwich and back with an sr20 in the boot yesterday (norwhich is roughly about a 300 mile round trip for me haha) but yeah panhard rod will deffo sort it out, i've got my eye out for one but might just buy a new one tbh. even if it's on coilovers it will still scrub without an uprated panhard rod, trust lol. (obviously depending on how low you sit it, but still) -

hey! (sorry still don't know your actual name?! lol) cars coming along slowly but surely, got it back at a nice 0.8 bar and it really shifts well, love driving it again. rapidly started to hate it over the last few weeks as it seemed every little thing i tried to do just failed and it was only running 0.4 bar which was abysmal lol. rolling road day next saturday so i'll put a pick of the graph up, whatever the result is i still love driving it and as a heavily relied upon daily it does me proud! lol need to get a build thread up for yours, will be mint when it's back on the road, looking forward to seeing it at shows and as sam said, picked up some custom 3mm exhaust manifold gaskets (one for mine one for his) which will hopefully be on this weekend and ready for the rollers. -
this car will end up going to a breaker

we look at stuff like this at uni, the g-meter and "tilt sensor" use the iphones accelerometer, which is pretty accurate tbf. the least accurate part is the gps. people seem to think gps is spot on accurate and it's not terrible, but it's accuracy does vary a lot due to atmospheric conditions etc were as the accelerometer holds constant accuracy. i want this app! might get it and have a play at weekend . was that the bonnet cable i got you? lol it's strange seeing your car with a grill, it was six months ago i came to buy the bonnet off you and even then it had no grill lol.
-
yeah my ex has one, absolutely gutless right through the rev range and you get a pull just before the red line. massively disappointed considering all the hype they get and everyone seems to drop to the floor drooling over them. they can look awesome though slammed with loads of camber. and you can get supercharger kits if you have a few grand to spare, and you can find one. And obviously you could go turbo too. Not slow just no where near what i imagined. but on the whole a massive disappointment tbh.
-
yeah i'm not preaching though haha, i'm still running a fcd, but i'll be splashing out on some form of management as soon as i can afford it. it's not just buying an ecu, it's getting it mapped as well that bumps the cost up but definitely a better investment for the long run
-
best way to sort it out is an aftermarket ecu (piggyback or stand alone) like emanage blue/emanage ultimate. might be more expensive but when you get it mapped you can get the fueling spot on for whatever set up your running.
