Yeah defo do a compression test, seen a lot of these sold with fucked engines. And aye a lot of people insure them as non turbos for cheap, which is just asking for trouble really.

Alright bud, where about is the car ? I could possibly have a look over the car with you if its not too far away from Stirling. If you dont have a compression tester its best to buy one and check the engine, i lent mine out to some cunt and never got it back. They are about 40 quid from Halfords and well worth the money.

What year is your car ? This is possible, my old GT was TD04 with a decat and it was under the emissions, it was a '94 so the emissions are more lenient for this year. Im not aware of this do you mean DPFs ?

There is SO much false info on this its laughable. This is straight from the MOT book and every car has to follow it does not matter if its an import or not. The 4EFTE engine might not be on the system, if its not then the car still has to pass the minimum standards, they are different depending on the year of the car.

The ones i find embarrassing are mainly the micras, a few civics and there actually a few starlet N/a on here that are all fuckin jdm y0! Stickers on them. Makes me laugh haha. Ibe said before your V is pretty sweetly modded, wouldnt feel uncomfortable in it man.

The Japanese must think the rest of the world are fuckin arseholes. I find a lot of 'JDM Modified' cars in the UK pretty embarrassing so god knows what they must think !! Its mainly Honda owners who are to blame the ones that camber the car to fuck, put some stickers on the door and then call it Kanjo.

Infact after taking a look its not quite on the selector tower, its just beside it, could whip the selector out and clean it from the inside with brake cleaner maybe ?

Its on the selector tower, where the gear cables attach. Its a little silver thing that kinda looks like a hat haha.
