  1. Thats pretty sweet dude, although i can imagine turning corners like that would interesting haha. Is the rear diff ratio similar to the EP85 ratio ?
  2. Best bet is wire it to a switch yeah but wouldnt use the battery, used a ignition switched 12v instead. They'll be one around the ignition somewhere.
  3. It does look like one of that guys adverts, he always lists shit like power windows and hi/lo boost button to beef up the spec a bit haha. Few people on here have bought cars off him that have then blew up on the way home, others have got cars off him and his brothers or whoever they are and the cars have been fine..

  5. Price sounds about right. HPI check will only tell you so much. Seen a few starlets crash damaged repaired outwith the insurance companies. Best thing you can do is take a mechanic mate down or someone who knows starlets really well to have a look over it. Failing that i think the AA do a kinda used car check for a few quid.

  7. Theyre common for a reason lol. If you dont want a TD04 then some kinda VF is a decent alternative, like a VF24.
  8. Thats whats good about the TD/VF manifolds, you can swap out the turbos very easily, anything from a TF035 to a VF22.
  9. Decent setup TD04 240bhp+ with quick spool is more than enough for most people.
  10. Yeah theres no way id be spending 8k on that. Postman pat had a similar car except his was red.

You could probably do the power side of things for 5k or close but then youd still need to do everything else, brakes, suspension, handling, gauges, maintenance etc. to even put the power down and make use of it. Few rough guide prices, bare minimum parts really. Theres a lot more you should buy. Used forged engine - 1.5k Used GT28 kit - 1.2k Injectors - 150 Used EMU - 400 Mapping - 400 Good EBC - 200 FMIC - 200 The list goes on theres a load more parts to buy if youre doing it properly.

  13. Probably had a stripped rear before and the old MK1 seatbelts chucked away, then MK3 rear seats fitted at a later date but unable to fit the rear belts.
  14. Nice shots bud, the MK1s only came with lap belts in the rear not proper seatbelts feom the c pillar so maybe thats why they were taken out ?

  16. Do all Glanza S have a knock sensor though ? Thought it was only the late spec Jap N/a starlets with the Gen3 4EFE. The 99 Jap N/a i used to have had a knock sensor, 3 wire o2 sensor, DIS ignition system and a few other things.
