  2. Could probably get a courier for 250 quid. These never come up for sale dont miss it !!
  3. Thats the other 2 of the 4 i was on about. The other being a silver 3dr 85 that hit the auctions the other night.
  4. There seems to be about 4 or so for sale atm which is unusual, theres normally none in 3dr manual. Best bet is to get onto the Geo about this, guaranteed it will be sold before its off the boat.
  5. Loose bolt ? Take the door card off and see if you can see anything
  6. Haha yes the 4paws do seem expensive, even though the 4wd system isnt state of the art it is actually quite good an puts the power down well. Plus dump 5k or something into one and it will shit all over most cars it comes across Unsure of Impreza chassis codes but i had a 94 WRX before and also a Legacy wagon. 4wd systems in them are quality.
  7. Single hex socket should do it no bother
  8. Yes the starlet 4wd system isnt exactly cutting edge but it was designed as a shopping trolley for old people in snowy regions of Japan so maybe thats why haha. Wouldnt take much to make a transmission tunnel in a GT, decent cutting tool should do the trick haha. Ahh they are good fun when working arent they Im getting a bugeye WRX next week for skidding about during Scottish winter lol.
  9. Like the idea, although the full rear celica drivetrain setup would have to be used as it uses a different setup to a starlet 4wd and the two diffs arent compatible. The starlwt uses an old axle style setup. Whereas the celica uses a newer style setup. Would love to see it done tbh, Geo said he was hoping to get round to doing it. Would have loads of pros like LSDs, better suspension, disc brakes etc.
  10. This has been done before i believe although the 3SGTE was used aswell as the box and transfer box. It was dropped in an EP95 and mated to the prop. Problem was the front and rear diff ratios didnt match and a mad combo of different size wheels and tyres had to be used front and back.
  11. Suppose engineering shops and stuff is an option but then its mega bucks. Another way of converting an auto 4wd starlet is importing a 4wd Toyota Corolla / Corsa / Tercel and stealing bits from them. Theres a recent thread in the 4wd section where i was talking to a guy about it. Id do that option if i had to.
  12. To convert an auto isnt normally that tricky but when its 4wd it can be. 4wd autoboxes are pretty complicated and not compatable with manual ones. (Maybe a tuning company could do something im not gonna say its impossible but near enough) To convert a 4wd auto starlet to manual you ideally need the manual box and transfer box which looks like this If you cant get a manual box then i 'reckon' you could use the bell housing off an OEM LSD box which look like this. The transfer box looks like it would bolt on. But then obviously youd need the 4wd front diff, which looks like this. Whic
  13. This will be quality !! Did you buy that reflet, or find out if it was 4wd ?
  14. He must be raking it in at 4k a pop once a week. To the OP, man up, stop crying, go back round his house, take his slippers off him and smack him about till you get your 4k back.
  15. Hes laughing all the way to the slipper shop with your 4k mate.
  16. Hahahahahahaha thats incredible !! Im away to turn my booat up to 2.8bar now.
  17. Lucky you, lapping in valves is mind numbing haha.
  18. Someones car was clearly pumped off a 1.3 haha. Go and cry somewhere else mate.
  19. Some kind of diff insert. Just get a LSD job done. Although they would have been good for 4paws, shame that never happened
