  2. In the engine loom itself on a GT there is 3 i think 3 earth points, one near the ICV on the injector harness, and one near each headlight. These are bolted to the car with 10mm. Then you have your negative earth strap from the battery to the gearbox. And there is another on the OS engine mount. HKS do earthing kits, bolt to the negative terminal of the battery and then put the leads on various points in the bay. Can get em on ebay, well probably reps of HKS kits haha.

Hmmm i duno mate, the idea of the carbon canisters is to draw excess vapour and then it gets drawn into the inlet and reburnt, hooking it up to a catch can sounds like its gonna be under pressure, and you dont want oil finding its way into your fuel tank either or even oil vapour. Id just leave that tbh.
  4. Pretty much yeah. Its the norm in Japan to punt cars to the UK so they will know exactly what to do.
  5. What ignition system do you run with this, a turbo one ?
  6. When i converted a boys EP91 for him i used a full 98spec Glanza wiring loom, front to back including a Glanza dashboard with clocks & stalks. It was a 98 N/a replica so was all plug and play. This is the easiest option for converting a 91 imo, others will have their own ways

  10. About 160 across all 4 is the norm, aslong as they are with 10% or so of each other thats fine. Anything like 130/140 and its rebuild time. A HG failure would look something like 150 50 50 150 for example
  11. Standard head is good for over 300bhp so you can leave that for the future and use the cash to get it fixed and on the road
  12. Defo worth changing the waterpump whilst your at it, especially if you have issues with the cooling system.
  13. Rainsports are decent, but in a 195/50/R15 the sidewalls do look pretty chunky. A 45 profile looks better
  14. First things first buddy do a sniff test, this will tell you if the HG has blown.
  15. Yep sounds like an underlying issue here.
  16. Theres a chip in the ECU. If he gets a hold of the ECU from the car he got the keys and barrel from, and puts it in his car it should work.
  17. Sweet build buddy, how much boost are you planning on running ?
  18. Im not sure that the engine ancillary loom separates from the fusebox like on a GT. Have a look in the fusebox and see if you can unplug it. Would save a lot of hassle.
