For future reference to anyone. Yaris D4D Chassis NLP10-AHMGXW. The box is a C53. 5th gear part number is 33036-12110, and the 5th gear driven part number is, 33428-12080

There are a few types of regs, newer style like, SA02 OBM, SA - Where it was registered, Glasgow, Scotland 02 - Year of registration OBM - Random as far as i know. Then another one i have is T929 VMA which is the older style. T - Year of registration, 1999 929 - Random as far as i know VMA - Where it was registered, fuck knows. Think thats about right anyway Also on the newer style ones, 55 would be late 2005. 60 is 2010, 64 is late 2014 etc. And then theres private plates which ruin the system haha.

Some sort of GT28 kit would be sweet.

Is your clutch pedal properly adjusted at the top of the pedal ? Holding hydraulic pressure fine ? Although does sound like a clutch / release bearing fault. Normally if it was say 3rd gear syncro the rest of the gears would select fine and 3rd would be difficult. Cable stiff would be some gears difficult. Chances of both cables seizing at the same time is slim. Get someone to go through the gears in the car and you have a look at them at the top of the box, see if they are sticking or if the shield has came off the cable. Also try select gears manually with the selectors on top of the box, if you can get gears that way then its looking to be a clutch / release bearing issue.

Can go right up to 31.7.1995 and still pass emissions with a decat, aslong as the engine is sound, not buring oil or that.

The blocks are cast anyway.

Starlet 4wd system is ok but not cutting edge but does the job. Seems to hook up well and put power done fine.

Leave it overnight and see if its really bad on first startup. Or take the mani off and see if theres oil in the runners.

Put em to FT haha. Actually quite common in cars, i see it quite a lot. Tell tale being the disc has a weird score round it if its been loose long enough.
