Was a good couple episodes. They must have been told about that plate because no way theyd have noticed that.
-
Probably just make the hotside pipe a bit longer if the turbo is further up from normal.

Hard to gauge really. Bearings Headgasket Headbolts Engine gasket kit Piston rings May aswell do stem seals Then option to do oil and water pumps aswell May aswell use new pistons as the ringlands on them are normally brittle and break Then all machine work and labour Could be about a grand total.

But buying a used engine is a gamble in itself. Especially 4EFTEs. Personally id get it rebuilt by a reputable company / engineer shop and then you'll have peace of mind its gonna last. Price all depends on whats fucked. And where you get the replacement parts from. Id take it into the engineers and let them do an evaluation first and go from there.

Corolla 4efe 89bhp? Fit Its Ecu To Your Starlet!
daniel_g replied to rmsnoel's topic in N/A E-Series Engine Discussions
I had one of those corollas and there was a definite power difference to a normal starlet. But also had a jap N/a with the DIS setup and the power felt the same as a uk. The JDM 100ps stuff is what you want for a half decent N/a build. -
Rookies ^^^ haha. http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/55996-identifing-aftermarket-lsds/#entry717283

If its a normal OEM box then yeah any aftermarket LSD like cusco or TRD etc. will fit in and use the origional shafts. When the cups are out look through the hole, the normal OEM open diff has a rod running diagonally through it, so if its not there then should be an aftermarket LSD inside.

Not you man.

If using the ee101 89bhp ECU then youd need to change the ignition system to DIS id have thought. -

Ive seen it on almost every new-ish car there is. Seems ok stuff that i got but then again ita seen 0 miles so pretty unteasted haha If youre doing the full engine harness then the thicker width the better really.

I bought some black cloth tape on ebay and redone the injector wiring harness, its sticky on one side and obviously sticks to itself. Looks ok and quite subtle. Something like ebay number 111465794914

Yeah thats true haha. I need to pick it up off a mate, will fire up a for sale thread then. In the mean time if anyone is interested fire me a pm.

Would probably take 90 tbh.

TF035 off a Forester with just under 90k miles, no smoke or side to side shaft play just a small about of in and out, like 1 or 2mm.
-
Hopefully they do temp cover

Cant go wrong with a K&N. Ive also ran mesh before and the sound is fuckin unreal. But for a daily you will be safer with a filter. But putting a filter on in this weather relocated to the front is gonna result in boost creep.

Jay's Forged Build *small update*
daniel_g replied to fremyjay's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
VF28 is a good turbo choice bud, once they spool there is some kick from it. My pal had one in his V but it was never mapped so never made the most out of it. Should sit sweet at about 1.4bar and give a good figure -
Pretty decent clutch

Aye the fuckin gay virgin lizzard squad said they hacked it haha. Buch of losers man, bet theyre all fat as fuck.
